Warm, charming, lots of good food (try the haggis bon bons ... go ahead ... I dare you. It was yummy.) Just about perfect fish and chips, and the lamb shank was great. We actually stayed there one night, and it was very comfortable.

The haddock and chips rates as the best we have ever had. Will be visiting again if anywhere near. Ate here in June 2018. Been meaning to put a review in ever since.

We were visiting Scotland in September of this year and fortuitously happened upon this wonderfully characterful Pub. It was damned chilly outside, and the fire was roaring on the inside so we settled in for the best lunch of our 5 week trip to the...More

Just has a very pleasant dinner at the Crown & Achor. The friendly barman recommended fish and chips which were superb. The haddock was light and flaky and perfectly cooked. I polished off the meal with a home cheese cake.
