Was taken by my daughter to Nardini's as I had heard about it over the years and about how good the ice cream was, but had never been there. So we went to Largs for the weekend and went to Nardini's for an ice cream dessert. It certainly lives us to it's great reputation. So many ice cream dishes to... More

Went to nardinis for Mother's Day for lunch with my mum and I ordered a chicken and cheese toastie and I ended up with food poisoning from it and I didn't eat anything the rest of the day as I wasn't feeling fantastic afterwards, my mums soup was cold and watery I actually tried it as well. The service was... More

Absolutely shocked at my trip to Nardini's this weekend! The food was cold when received and the chicken breasts made my friend sick afterwards. My other friend had the soup and it was watery and tasteless (I even tried it). Not only this but also the customer service was terrible to, the young lad was quite rude to me when... More

Largs is an attractive town on the Clyde coast which I have visited many, many times. Apart from walking to the "pencil", a monument commemorating the battle of Largs, a major attraction is a visit to the famous Nardini's whose name is long associated with Largs. It has reopened after being closed for some time and had a major make over... More

Arrived in Largs for a change of scenery, the weather was good and the sun shining which certainly brought people out. We decided on Nardini for lunch despite the queue to get into the restaurant. Staff were excellent at organising tables which kept the waiting time down to about 15 mins before we were shown to our table. We ordered... More

Nardini's was closed for a few years and I'm pleased it's opened again as we enjoyed it previously. It attracts loads of people particularly when the sun's out as there's always a queue for ice cream. On our last visit we went into the restaurant and we all had the pensioner fish & chips, tea and bread & butter, excellent.... More

We only stoped for ice cream on a rather miserable day at this iconic cafe. Great selection of ice cream and some quite unusual choices. Staff at the ice cream counter were a bit miserable and never cracked a smile for the whole time we were being served ... bit of shame.

Myself and my husband had lunch with family on a busy Saturday and we was served quite quickly and the food came up very quickly and it was vey good food. Good food for good money. It was not packed and you was not feeling compact in a room.

Why oh why in this day and age can a place this size not keep some gluten free bread in the freezer and defrost it to make gluten free sandwiches when requested? We have been to tiny cafes all over Britain who do better than this. Shocking!
