Phil, Andrew and their wonderful team have done an exceptional job and will no doubt be a roaring success. I have had the great pleasure of dining at the Coorie Inn several times now and each and every experience has been a sumptuous delight. This...passed weekend, we calibrated my mothers 70th birthday with a Sunday lunch, which was exceptional in every regard. The Sunday roast was a perfectly cooked feast fit for a king, with impeccable service and the buzzing ambiance made it very hard to leave. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say, I cannot wait to return! Congratulations to you both!More

Enjoy the food and drinks. It is a wee cosy place too, as the name suggests. Been regularly but not for a while. Will be back.

We made a last minute booking mid-morning and arrived 5 hours later to a warm welcome from Lisa. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The bar area is warm and cosy with an open fire, perfect for a pre-dinner drink and game of Backgammon....Dinner was truly delicious, plenty of choice. The roast potato’s were perfectly crispy and the beef “melt in the mouth”. The highlight for me had to be the pumpkin and gingerbread dessert, YUM! After a good nights sleep, we managed to wolf down fluffy pancakes and an amazing Scottish Breakfast before our departure! It was a pleasure to meet the owners and hear their amazing plans. Thank you Phillip and Andrew, we loved our stay and wish you every success. We will be back to see the renovations and bakery!More

This is a new venture by 2 former Gleneagles Chefs. The chef and waitress are also from there. The Inn is warm and cosy wit a real fire in the small bar area and also a log burner in the dining room(awaiting a chimney lining...but up and running soon) The Sunday lunch is a small menu but it has 4starters, 4 mains and 4 sweets. Everything is locally sourced and used in season as much as possible. The staff are warm and friendly and the service slick. The food was the star of the show. Prawn cocktail with really big prawns and not an over filled bowl of lettuce. That in itself is a plus point. The roast beef was melt in the mouth. The Yorkshire’s were big, but slightly overdone. Still very edible though. The sides of roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and a bowl of broccoli and kale. Extra heavy was also served. This is a good idea as sometimes only a small portion is put on the plate. The greens were cold, but everything else was very hot. The sweets were very well received and the cheese included the most tasty goats cheese. We had coffee in the small bar area next to the roaring fire. The decor is being upgraded soon , but it still has a nice, cosy feel. There are 6 rooms available too. Handy if you are having dinner and a wee drink. The Sunday lunch was buzzing. Good to see. All in all, this was a brave mov by these 2 young men and I wish them every success in the future.More

Ignore the terrible and poor reviews, this restaurant serves a wonderful Sunday Lunch with terrific service. Dined as a couple and one of us has a food allergy ! The staff were attentive and incredibly welcoming, we wish the new owners all the best for...the future and continued success. We will be back , it is just a shame we live so far away.More

Our third visit to the cosy and welcoming Coorie Inn - this time for the Sunday Roast. This was the first time we had eaten there with our 6 year old and she was made extremely welcome and entertained greatly by the fabulous whiteboards and...pens. The owner and staff are genuinely warm and interested in their customers, which creates a special atmosphere. The bar is an inviting space for a pre lunch/dinner drink and the restaurant itself is full of character. The absolute highlight however is the food. The Sunday roast in particular was exceptional. We had the beef and it was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The side dishes are sumptuous, with generous portions. It felt like a luxurious feast! Starters and desserts equally delicious, and we ended the meal with a delightful cheese board. My daughter polished off her meal of pork sausages and was even served a dairy free vanilla ice cream, much to her delight. On previous visits, we have dined in the evening and found the quality to be equally high. The Coorie Inn is now firmly on our list of favourite places to eat in the area. We are thrilled to see an expanded wine/drinks list and look forward to sampling some of the new additions on our next visit. Keep up the good work, we are huge fans!More

Very friendly staff, great food and a cosy atmosphere. The bar area is dog friendly and has an open fire to enjoy. We enjoyed the charcuterie board, which was excellent.

Quite simply unmissable! From the moment I phoned to booked 4 rooms for myself and 3 colleagues as we were playing golf nearby at Gleneagles the experience was pleasurable. Our entire stay was outstanding, a great team providing a warm, friendly welcome and nothing was...too much trouble. The food as well was absolutely outstanding and you have to try the home made porridge in the morning! I will be back!More

We stayed overnight and had dinner and breakfast on recommendation from family. From the minute we opened the front door we felt all cosy and warm. The welcome was also warm and genuine. Our room was comfortable and the bed huge! Our dinner and breakfast...were both fabulous with the hosts being so helpful but not intrusive. We will be hurrying back to the Coorie Inn when we can. A wonderful place to be especially in the winter.More

Sunday, after all the travel, all the way from London it was a bliss of the day, food was absolutely delicious ! The service was outstanding! I started with Mushroom with toasted brioche which was really flavourful, just on point! As a main Beef Wellington...with all the sides best so far I tried 10 out of 10! As a desert Sticky toffee pudding really delicious - only down side it didn't had enough ice cream for all the dessert. Also we shared a rice pudding with apples and crumple really well combined flavours perfect sweet and sour combo.Highly recommend this place!! Thank you so much to the team!More

What a lovely night out with family. The food was amazing - good value, high quality fine dining. The mushroom brioche - wow! If I can give one bit of advice to future customers - order ALL of the sides, we couldn’t decide which one...we liked best! The attitude of the front of house is really important to me and the Coorie Inn didn’t disappoint. The owners and staff were super friendly. They were keen to engage and share their passion and vision for the restaurant. I wish them every success. We will definitely be back!More

Had driven past this place several times over the years when it was The Barlee Bree. These 2 guys Phil and Andrew are doing a fantastic job in putting the Coorie Inn on anyone’s culinary excellence map. Such an unassuming frontage but wonderful warm welcome...inside and a lovely big room overlooking the street corner. We were there for Dinner Bed and Breakfast and had an absolutely stunning Dinner. We hear that folk are already coming from far and wide to eat here and they won’t be disappointed. Phil and Andrew are a cracking pair of hardworking lads with real vision and have recruited a wonderful and loyal staff. No hesitation at all in recommending the Coorie Inn to all our gourmet and non gourmet friends.More

The staff were excellent from the moment that we entered the restaurant. Some lovely dishes on offer with local produce and described brilliantly. Fish of the day was my wife’s excellent choice, whilst I elected for braised beef. The service provided was top drawer and...great value.More
