Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful food, delicious flavours, expertly created. Attentive service. Wee bit long inbetween courses so not recommended if you are looking for a quick dinner but definitely worth the wait if you are in for a relaxed, very delicious meal with lots of attention to detail.

This place might be slightly off the beaten path but go out of your way try it. Beautifully crafted food served by the nicest people I’ve come across in a while, and I dine out a lot! Really friendly and cosy vibes at Coorie Inn....Fantastic choices on the menu and nothing pretentious - this food and service wouldn’t be out of place in the big cities’ finest restaurants. I mentioned it was a little out of the way but the beauty of it is, they have rooms! I stayed over and I was really impressed by the tasteful decor. Aesthetics aside, it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever been in and the pillows felt like my tired and weary head had landed on a couple of low flying clouds. Coorie Inn hasn’t been open very long but something tells me it’s going to be a great success story. If you’ve not been yet, get a date in your diary to go. It’s a cracker!More

Extremely helpful staff and such a relaxing atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble, the food was delicious. Absolutely great as a pescatarian to have choice of sole on roast menu, lovely meal. A cosy bar to have a pre/post dinner drink. Smartly decorated room with a...very comfy bed, a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.More

Just enjoyed a five star meal, where every course was creative and unique. Not your standard fare, but beautifully presented and cooked. The staff are very welcoming, and this is an excellent venue for a special meal. Looks like Gleneagles has competition!

My husband & I are just back from an overnight stay at the Coorie Inn, we were joined before this with family for Sunday lunch. In a word-exceptional! From the moment we arrived we felt very much welcomed and comfortable in this gorgeous Inn. The...staff are very professional but at the same time friendly and, helpful without being claustrophobic. Each of the three courses we sampled were absolutely sublime-beautifully presented & scrumptious, washed down with delicious wine with attentive staff topping up our water glasses when appropriate. The decor in the dining room was lovely & enhanced by a roaring log burner. Our teas & coffees were served in the lovely bar area as we relaxed on comfortable chairs, again with another lovely fire in the hearth. The room we had was just beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, fantastic shower, lovely toiletries & in fact everything we needed. Breakfast the next morning again did not disappoint. Andrew was on hand to serve a delicious breakfast & attended to all our needs. Regrettably we were only staying for 1 night but we will definitely return & also look forward to sampling more from the menu. The Coorie Inn is an undiscovered gem in the Perthshire countryside. Thank you Andrew, Phil & staff for your warm hospitality.More

Second time visiting the Coorie Inn. First was with kids, this time just my wife and I. On both occasions the food was absolutely top drawer, the service fantastic and the place is very warm and atmospheric. My wife is coeliac and her gluten-free requirements...were catered for superbly. A real gem of a restaurant. Heartily recommend!More

Coorie Inn is an amazing boutique hotel in beautiful Muthill,Perthshire We booked for dinner bed and breakfast and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. The bedrooms are elegant and classy, the dining room comfortable with a lovely homely atmosphere and the bar with...its roaring fire so inviting. The staff are warm, friendly and very knowledgeable of what is on offer. The food is absolutely delicious from the starters , main courses and then finishing with the desserts . We just had the most fantastic lunch at the Coorie Inn. I had the Mac and Cheese, it was exceptional ! A lovely warm welcome in a traditional (with a twist), Scottish setting, what more could you ask for. We will definitely be back!

We love this place so much. We have recently in the past had lunch, dinner and their fabulous Sunday Roast of course. Andrew, Lisa and Phil are great hosts, they really take time to make you feel so welcome and provide a fab service. We...stayed for the first time with them on Saturday for Dinner, bed and breakfast in Room number 1 with a wonderful roll top bath, great views of the church and the hills in the distance. Furthermore, breakfast was just perfect, all fresh local produce. We will be back for an overnight for sure!❤️More

The Coorie Inn is such a beautiful country style restaurant. We sat in the bar area beside the roaring fire for a drink prior to going through to the restaurant to dine I have been wanting to have the Sunday roast menu for a while,...it did not disappoint. Best roast dinner I have ever had by a country mile. There is a great selection on the menu for all tastes while using high quality seasonal produce. This is the my new favorite place. Team are all fantastic, making you feel so comfortable as soon as you come through the door and a high standard of service by all. If you have not visited Coorie Inn, you are missing out. Run!More

We stayed at The Coorie Inn over the last two nights, what a find! The new owners have recently undertaken a full refurbishment. This has been done with such attention to detail. There is a luxury finish to all areas, with particular attention to the...en-suite bedrooms. As soon as we walked into room 1, all we wanted to do was ‘Coorie-in’, the room was warm and welcoming, painted in a beautiful dark blue-grey with contrasting soft furnishings and the most comfortable expansive bed. The en-suite was a delight, with a deep copper bath, sheer decadence. The cosy lounge with wood burner, chesterfield sofa and warm decor again was perfect to relax before dinner. The menu was concise but with enough choice to suit every taste. Presentation, quality and again, attention to detail were evident, we were not disappointed. The team, which included the owners, were attentive, informed and happily recommended (and obviously supported) other local business offering recommendations for walks, food and experiences in the local area. We wish them well in this exciting venture.More
