Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had an excellent g/f steak pie and mash. The veg was so fresh, I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch as did my husband who had the regular steak pie and chips.

We have visited Crieff regularly and this is the first time we have eaten here. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant offers a true Scottish Breakfast which is a rareity in many Scottish towns. Food was great and served promptly. Only niggle was the quality of the link sausage! Will definitely return here for the full 10 piece breakfast. My wife and son both enjoyed the 5 piece Scottish breakfasts. Afterwards we browsed the Crieff Visitors centre then Caithness Glass next door

We just happened upon Drovers near Crieff, Scotland. Quiet place were family could talk and share about our family heritage. The food was a hit for all ages in the family: steak pie, steaks, hamburgers, plus Mac and cheese. The service was excellent - friendly and pleasant. Would love to go back

A remarkably good restaurant for such a type of place. Menu changes with the season, but is always fresh. I had the steak and haggis pie - a lovely puff pastry pocket with a layer of haggis and large chunks of succulent beef in a wonderful gravy. Unfortunately, the veg were totally tasteless, but I’ll forgive them that for the excellent quality of the pie. Coffee was also good.

Came here with my mum when we were visiting the Caithness Glass Factory and just made it in time for the 11.30 curfew for the breakfast. You can choose from a small, medium or large and you choose what you want in it. Also do haggis which is not available everywhere and just completes a cooked breakfast in my opinion. A bit dearer than our usual breakfasts in Lanarkshire but thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice and clean with plenty on offer and a fast and friendly service.

Popped in at 11.30 on a quiet Monday. Fancied a bacon roll ( i could smell the bacon). Nope, couldn’t get one - breakfast stopped at 11.30. Absolutely ridiculous. In this day and age surely we should treat customers a bit better

This venue is literally like entering a time warp. The architecture and design is like stepping back to the early 1970's and modernisation has been avoided over the years. The loos were spotlessly clean and door knobs reflect Caithness Glass output from yesteryear. All the staff were very helpful, positive and trying hard to accommodate foreign tourists with their lunch requirements. Sandwiches were freshly prepared and well filled. Steak Pie appears very popular and this venue attracts mainly passing tourists. Saw little evidence of indigenous Scots eating lunch. We enjoyed our lunch and free car parking in a large car park outside was a big draw over the town centre. Management was active and we will return. Coffee is also recommended.

Very good choice on menu from full meals to lighter bites such as baked potatoes, toasties, paninis and soup. Great selection of cakes for that wee treat as well! Very spacious seating area, don't feel packed in at all or rushed. Attached gift shop and garden centre is well worth a look too. Staff professional and friendly.

Lovely place for a comfort stop, a visit to where you find a timeline of the area and how the “Drove” roads came about where they started and end up at a market. There is a gift shop for those who like shops. The restaurant is where you can get just a tea or coffee or a meal from wholesome product.

Decided to stop here for something to eat and break the journey. We both opted for the BLT sandwich which turned out far superior than we had been anticipating. The bread was lovely and everything was very fresh.
