Wow, amazing food and ambience! The hotel and restaurant are lovely! Very attentive staff too! We had haggis Bon bons, twice baked cheese soufflé to start with! Loved the pesto and tomato with my soufflé and the irn bru chilli jam with haggis Bon bons was lovely! Roast duck / oxtail and sirloin for our mains! Beautiful! Cranachan was the... More

What can I say in addition to this - except YES YES YES..! We have a new chef now who is creating some amazing new dishes (yes it is possible) and the new 7 course tasting menu has been a real hit. We were staying in nearby Lochearnhead, and went to this hotel Restuarant on two occasions. I cannot praise the place enough. The food was outstanding, the lady waitresses extremely friendly and helpful. The view from the dining room overlooking Loch Earn is absolutely beautiful. The only downside is that we live over four hundred miles away!! How sad is that?

Pleased that you enjoyed you dining experiences with us so much. With our new chef Will, ably assisted in the kitchen by Chris (our sous chef) we believe that our restaurant has moved up to the next level. The new addition of a "taster menu" has proven to be a hit. You are going to need to re-visit us again... More

Food is very well cooked and menu offers a good range of food. The wine list offers a good range of wines and the bar is well stocked with a range of drinks.

The quality of food, the choice of dishes and the standard of service in this restaurant are all very good. Stunning views also of Loch Earn. My only criticism is that prices are unreasonably high for small portions.

Thank you for your review. We are indeed exceptionally lucky and privileged to be able to look out on Loch Earn every day - especially when the weather is great. But then again even on grey days the view is still exceptional. Pleased you enjoyed the service which matched the food and wine. Regards Brad, Zelda and the team from... More

We had a nice dinner. Beautiful views. Nice staff. If they'd dime the lights a bit for dinner it would be better. Very very bright. It kills the romantic. I think dinner is only open on Thursdays to Sunday (maybe just fall?). St. Fillans is a very cute town.

Thank you for taking the time to review your dining experience with us. Unfortunately the dimmer switch in the restaurant was broken on the evening of your visit but it has been repaired and the lights in the restaurant are once more subdued and romantic. Sorry that it affected your evening adversely. Regards Brad, Zelda and the team from the... More

2nd visit within a month. I am delighted to have tried Achray House under new ownership. Living at the other end of Loch Earn, I will definitely recommend this restaurant to our own guests if they enjoy creative cooking, lovely flavours and good wines.
