Visited in January while staying in the village of Drumnadrochit. It is the only place open during off season but we really enjoyed our visit as the atmosphere was nice, relaxing and romantic. There was a fireplace but was not on/ there are wooden chairs with cushions, candles and lots of local art on the walls. We had a set... More

It's a lovely place to visit, really nice décor but the food is a little variable and maybe too expensive for what is served.

1 x night stay for Hogmanay , stayed in a family room , which consisted of two separate rooms , adjoining with their own door and accessed from the hall way , ideal for family of four . My brother stayed in a single room on the other side of the building . All in all the accommodation was nice... More

we enjoyed most of our dinner time here. It's a very cosy dining place. The food served here is quite special. Really worth trying out this place if you can find the place.

We stayed here for two nights in what was an austerely decorated room in room 11 directly above the bar. A bed, nightstands and a hanging bar for coats. The room, as was the bathroom were immaculately clean and the room was thoroughly serviced each day. Shuffling stools and noise till midnight. The Wi Fi, perhaps because of our location... More

We spent Hogmanay (New Year's Eve) at the Loch Ness Inn. The place was packed, but we had a table for two in a great people watching spot. Nice bottle of wine, but dinner was a little odd - my appetizer of venison featured really well cooked (medium rare), tender meat with shredded cabbage but was served on a pool... More

We had read great reviews, especially of the food, and we're really disappointed. Our room was adequate but above the bar so a bit noisy. Our dinner was terrible. We ordered the specials. My scallops on "risotto" were tasteless and on a bed of what must be Scotland's version of Uncle Bens. It was NOT risotto nor was it properly... More

Travelled up on New Years Eve to spend the celebrations with Nessie, we'd searched various places to stay and settled on the Loch Ness Inn. Stayed 2 nights & weren't disappointed. Easy to find in the small town of Drummnadrochit. The carpark is big enough to cope with the demand of the customers. The pub décor is homely clean, neat,... More
