This is a great, friendly pub with excellent food and friendly staff. We returned several times and were never disappointed. Lots of seating upstairs apparently but we stayed in the bar with our dog who also enjoyed her stay here!

I couldn't fault the food here. I had haggis as a starter, followed by cod and chips. Decided to have a small portion of fish and chips, they were delicious. Portions are large. Couldn't manage a pudding- shame!

Ate here on a Sunday evening having looked in all the other places in Fort Augustus this menu looked a bit different. Prices are on par with the other local restaurants, pricey if your used to Wetherspoon type pubs but suppose that’s to be expected...More

Great food and service experienced. The venison burger was served medium and was juicy with great flavour. The fried haddock was crispy and tasty and a huge portion.

This pub was a great find after a day walking on the Great Glen Way. They were very accommodating to a party of 9 even though they don't have reservations and they were busy. The food, particularly the fish and chips, was just terrific and...More

Sitting here at 10 pm and my party of four are the only people in the pub. It is early in the season. The pub is an ok place. Good range of spirits but several pump beers were off. We did not eat here but...More

I only know this pub from a summer visit when it was mega busy. Parking is an issue as there are only about 6 spaces on the narrow one way street outside the pub. There is a pay and display public car park in the village... More

My wife and I visited the pub on a couple of occasions and, on both occasions, dogs were made welcome.
