Good atmosphere, good food, spotlessly clean, very reasonable prices probably because it is run by volunteers. Well worth a try in a village that is top heavy with cafes.

We stopped in here for lunch or coffees, a couple of time during our regular fortnights stay in Broughton for email catchup mainly. The food and refreshments are excellent value and great value. I would highly recommend this venue for a snack break on your travels.

We popped in merely to look at this converted kirk and whilst we didn't eat, we were very impressed. They do morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea. Everything is freshly made, baked on the premises and all at very reasonable prices. Bakery items looked most appetising. Staff - most of whom are volunteers - were very friendly and obliging -... Good for an afternoon break with very reasonable prices and friendly staff and customers. You can have a light meal if required, which look very good. All the staff are volunteers and do a great job.

The Gillespie centre is a excellent place to go to they have a variety of food and they are not expensive which is a must for us - we have been there a few times and they are very nice and friendly and you can also have a good read at the newspapers. We will be going back.

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat. Two great huge homemade bowls of soup with a crusty roll each and 2 cans of juice for under £8, show me where else you can get that!?! Great, friendly staff too. But... get there early as at 12noon it was jammed packed. always a good sign.

After breakfast and a little shopping we still had time to put of before arriving at our Hotel. We spied this place on the Main street and noticed that they had a lovely conservatory attached to the church. The tearoom extends back into the main body of the kirk and can accommodate quite a few people but in little nooks... More
