We have been to the public bar for having a dinner before taking the last ferry. Really nice and friendly people working there. Goat cheese and cream of mushroom soup were really good.

We took a drive over to port askaig to see the lifeboat so had to stop and take in the views from the outdoor seating area. Very friendly staff and good selection of drinks.

My husband had the seafood platter, and I had the basil sole. The morning breakfast is hearty. The haddock for breakfast is especially good.

Had a nice lunch here on a wet and very busy Monday. I had lovely fresh scallops in the shell with lots of garlic butter and very nice bread. My wife had cullen skink which was equally as good.

We had lunch at the restaurant before taking the ferry (only option in Port Askaig anyway). We ate burgers on the tables in the garden, it was nice to eat outside in the sun rather than inside the pub which is quite dark... The food...More
