We ate twice at the old kiln cafe. You can walk from Lagavulin and Laphroaig. Be prepared to wait a little while unless you pre booked which we did not do. Superb food at decent prices. Must very highly recommend their haggis dish with the...More

My wife and I had lunch here after a tour at the distillery. I had the mussels and my wife had salmon. Both dishes were hearty and good. Reasonably priced as well. Recommended!

We had a tasty lunch (club sandwich and smoked haddock soup). Portions were generous and service good. We then went on the £6 distillery tour which lasted over an hour and was fascinating even though I don't drink whisky. Highly recommended

There is no doubt, the food there is excellent and delicious! Still they could do more of the place, make it a bit more cosy, seperate it from the busy shop.

Friendly staff, lovely free samples & excellent coffee plus cakes. What more could one ask for - and the local music was good too.

We'd read about this place on the internet and it lived up to its reputation. It has a really interesting menu with some variations on traditional Scottish fare. We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
