Having stayed at The Loch Fyne Hotel on the mainland the previous night and seen them run out of Loch Fyne scallops less than 30 minutes into dinner service, I was more than delighted with the sublime Islay scallops. The following night I had the...More

We ate in the restaurant, but did not stay in the hotel. The service was very attentive, although clearly the staff was all new because to each question we asked, the reply was "I'll have to ask the kitchen." Wine list not so great, menu...More

Excellent restaurant, good selection of local seafood. Could do with offering local ales. Priced for special occasions rather than regular eating - unless you're minted!

My husband and I received a recommendation from locals to come here for the seafood platter. It did NOT disappoint! Giant Lobster, Langoustines, it was amazing! Totally worth the price. Service was fair, but the food made up for it.

We went here a couple of times last week. The first time was intended just as a pre dinner drink, but we saw the scallops on the specials board and decided to have them as a starter in the bar before going to Sea Salt...More
