Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This review is for Siaway fish and chips, not cafe Sia. In the past their food was very good but having a late lunch is a bad idea here. The chips were reheated and were hard and dry. The same was true for the burger...- hard and no moisture. The bread bun crumbled and very dry. We needed to drink copious amounts of water to be able to swallow the food. I'm hoping this is not the new norm - getting rid of excess food from lunchtime. Always ask if the food is freshly made!More

We stopped for lunch here based on Tripadvisor reviews, and it was one of the best meals in Scotland. The pizza is amazing!!! The coffees are also extremely good. They were slammed when we arrived and apologized for being short staffed, but the service was...still pretty fast.More

Had a take out wood fired pizza from here during our week stay in the area. Friendly service through their wooden hatch and simply lovely pizza. What’s not to love!

Stopped for a quick solo dinner on my way to an event. Really friendly waiting staff. Excellent pizza and the side salad with added seeds was really nice. Vegan "cheesecake" with beetroot and ginger was really nice, ginger was just a hint though, could have...packed more punch. Very reasonable bill. Get there early, there were people queueing to get in when I left.More

Amazing food, service and well worth a wait if there’s a queue! We came after a big hike and it was the perfect choice. Pizzas are stone baked and delicious. Chips are cut so you can scope the sauce up, great idea :) Can’t recommend...more! Go!!lMore

Had a margarita pizza at the Cafe Sia. One thing that stood out was that it was not greasy at all. Very tasty. Service was excellent and parking was right in front of the cafe. Would definitely come back here again.

Looking for a quick supper after day of exploring the Isle. Spotted the cabin while passing through the town, so stopped. Great choice, not huge, which I think always shows that whatever comes out will be great. Certainly not disappointed with our pizza supper, freshly...cooked with tasty local ingredients. Highly recommended!More

While the ambience reminded me of an Amerikan Diner, the Pizza as well as the Coffee are very Italian, in the best sense of the word. To top that, you can even pair your Espresso with a dram of finest Scotch. The staff is very...friendly and helpful.More

We've been here on several occasions over the years mainly as they do serve gluten free Pizza - although gf are smaller and an extra £2 . We were sat at a table by the window and door and could see directly into the kitchen...area - I didn't notice straight away- the music playing was so loud it was uncomfortable and we couldn't hear each other speak! I asked for the music to be turned down - that's when I noticed the kitchen - dirty cloths left all over counters and a young lad preparing food in a very untidy area and people standing around playing with utensils and anything else lying around- avoiding work! Customers were all sat in front of the window on cramped tables to make the cafe look busy!! The piza which last time was called Hawian this time was called ham and cheese and pineapple classed as a side for an extra 99p each! My small gf piza was very salty and the edges were inedible- hubby's wasn't? Coffee served before meal and was cold when food arrived!! No asking when we would like our drinks or would we like to see the specials board? Like other diners! One lady probably the manager did the work of half a dozen people - so if half dozen folks were not there thecfood might not have cost the best part of £40!!!!!More

The seafood tomato pasta is the one to go for. Pizza’s also good. We came back the next day but unfortunately they were closed due to staff calling in sick. Fortunately the take away on the side was open and we ordered the pizza. Recommended.

Hi there, I took over the Cafe in 2014 and we do a tasty flourless brownie and gluten free chocolate salami. While I can't promise the delicious chocolate fudge cake you mentioned, we do have plenty of home made desserts... More

We love dogs and are dog friendly! We also provide dog bowls for water on our decking. We are not allowed dogs inside though as we have an open kitchen and also other customers might object.
