Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent service. Waitress was efficient, cheery and very helpful. We ordered two pizzas which were really tasty and side salads which were basic but nice and fresh. It’s a bit pricey, but you’re in Skye so what do you expect.

Very disappointed, shown to our table and then ignored, watched 2 other couples come in after we were seated who ordered and got their food before we were even asked what drinks we might like. So walked out.

Ordered vegetarian pizzas and rustic chips. The chips were great but the pizzas were so disappointing. Absolutely no flavour at all and so pricey, the food needed to be really good to justify the price. Would not recommend the vegetarian pizzas at all.

We had the most amazing takeaway pizza at Siaway next to the cafe. We were staying on the camping skye site and it was a 2 minute walk to the cafe and takeaway. Will definitely be back for more pizzas.

We had a perfect light lunch at Cafe Sia, couldn't fault it. Reception was warm and efficient, restaurant was almost completely full, but a table was found very quickly for us and we were comfortably seated. Ordering was easy and helpful. We both chose to...have a tomato, spinach and red onion bruschetta each, and we shared a generous portion of sweet potato chips. Also one light ale and one San Pellegrino orange. The bruschetta and the wonderful chips were both simply delicious, as was the excellent coffee to follow. Service was very friendly and extremely professional Thank you Cafe Sia - it was all a great pleasure, and we shall be back.More

Dropped by yesterday just to grab a coffee but decided to have some seafood chowder for a quick meal. Today after fighting the narrow roads of Syke all day we decided to drop by for dinner. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is very close...to an Applebees or TGI Fridays back in the states. I had the Langoustines and my wife wanted the seafood chowder again. Delicious! Great beer selection as well.More

Stopped for a coffee, but decided to share a pizza because they looked so good. The coffee was super-excellent, and the 6 cheese pizza was so good we had to order another out of sheer greed, we weren't hungry when we ordered the first! No...regrets. As it was a bit chilly we'd left the dog in the van, but decided to all share an ice-cream in the covered terrace so he wouldn't feel left out. We'll be back to try the more grown up food another time. The seafood looked really good.More

Ideal location in a lovely location when departing Skye and Inverness, with indoor seating and outdoor takeaway counter. Friendly, welcoming service with hot coffee and assorted snack items to take for the drive.

The Pizza here is one of the best in town. Wood fire smell with delicious sauces on top. The soup and smoothies are also good. Sure, the prices here are also one of the most expensive one in town.

Amazing food and fantastic service. We had our dog with us so had to sit outside in their covered area but, even though it was cold and pouring with rain it was warm and snug with the heaters on. Definitely visit when you're on Skye.

Can't fault it at all. Staff very attentive , efficient and friendly to us, food delicious. Fresh mint tea- not a teabag! I don't live here now but as a visitor to the island I have to say Cafe Sia has impressed us.

Fish and chips, homemade tartar sauce and a side of southern fried goujons were cooked to order so we didn't mind waiting thinking it would be nice, tasty and fresh. Bit disappointing though, expected better for the Haddock, really quite greasy, it was edible but...nothing special so not sure I would rush back.More

Hi there, I took over the Cafe in 2014 and we do a tasty flourless brownie and gluten free chocolate salami. While I can't promise the delicious chocolate fudge cake you mentioned, we do have plenty of home made desserts... More

We love dogs and are dog friendly! We also provide dog bowls for water on our decking. We are not allowed dogs inside though as we have an open kitchen and also other customers might object.
