Very impressed! Delicious food and excellent service. The Spaghetti Carbonara was exceptional and the mussels outstanding!

15 of attended from Rosslyn Lodge No.1543 from Essex. To end our weekend we visited La Campana for dinner. The service wa excellent and the italian cuisine was superb. Good value for money and would not hesitate to return again if we return to the...area. Grazia Mille formidable.👌More
This restaurant is a gem, but inexplicably quiet! The portions were massive, every dish delicious, prices reasonable and the waiter was attentive, friendly and kept us topped up and happy, right down to a free drink at the end! First time I’ve been since the...restaurant moved and I was delighted that it still has great food, from a very traditional menu. Shame it was so quiet, businesses like this need supported. It’s a friendly place and simply the best food in Livingston.More
Admittedly very delicious food, but completely screwed up the bill and argued with me about what the charges were on it. Charged me £14 for a fresh fruit juice!!!!!!! Completely needless argument to resolve and get this sorted. I will not be back.
Had a wonderful time here celebrating our Ruby Anniversary. Food was fantastic and the servers were so helpful and friendly. Everyone loved their meals especially the steaks which were perfectly cooked & smothered with a very generous amount of creamy sauce. Our only small criticism...was they had run out of quite a few desserts by the end of the night. Apart from that a perfect evening thanks.More
Wonderful service excellent food reasonably priced . Seafood linguini was lovely . Open kitchen so you can see food being made . Comfortable surroundings will be back.
The food was variable: lasagne was cold and had to be sent back and a scampi dish was unrecognisable as scampi. Other dishes ranged from good to delicious. Service was very poor. As a group of ladies with money to spend, we decided not to...return.More
Great, friendly staff and a fabby 3 course meal. Managed to get a table at short notice. Will be back in the near future.
Lovely, family friendly restaurant. The food is really delicious and the service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
Wish i had read the reviews first ..the most expensive £50+ takeaway that i have binned ..garlic bread was burned , calamari half cooked , veg spaghetti was totally tasteless and as for the tiramisu....it tasted as unappetising as it looked !....awful waste of money.....More
This is a good restaurant with good food, BUT they refuse to stock Chardonnay which is my choice with a meal. Hence, I will not be going back.
Worst restaurant I have ever been in!on arrival because we had no booking made feel unwelcome even though restaurant was empty…felt like sitting in a geriatric ward in a hospital listening to greatest his of the eighties…first time I have ever eaten bruschetta listening to...Brian Adam’s….beer was offf had that funky smell you get when it’s just not been used enough….bruschetta was okay but it’s only toast with tomatoes?the fillet steak stroganoff totally over priced & tasteless ….needles to say I won’t be back!!!More
The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient. The new venue (last couple of years) is spacious and airy and classy. Unfortunately for me a few points were lost in the execution of the food. As a small eater I would have liked some smaller...options and I realise I am the exception in most cases. My friends all enjoyed their massive portions. Also my main dish I felt sadly was not particularly tasty so I left about half. All I could taste was salt which was unusual for an Italian dish. I was pleased to be able to have a gluten free option pasta and as a vegetarian nice to see a couple of choices. I wasn’t clear if the Parmesan was veggie (it’s not usually) so had to decline the offered garnish. This was the first time I had been here and it was my Birthday celebration. Sadly I am not sure I would return. However for others I appreciate it would be good.More
Out for dinner with sister on a quiet Weekday evening. Ordered focaccia which was oily and tasteless but let this slide and hoped it would pick up. It did not . The main course , pollo picante was inedible. The broccoli was cremated then doused...in oil . The potatoes had no seasoning, the sauce was watery and the chicken was like rubber . I chose not to eat it because … it was truly awful. The waitress asked if all was ok and I said no , explained and was offered something else . I said it had put me off . She took my plate away . My sister ate what she wanted of her lasagne ( which was ok in fairness ) while I sat and watched . Asked for the bill and it came with no discount for the uneaten meal. I said I thought that was harsh to be told ‘ no one else complained ‘ . No one else was eating my dinner ! The waitress then said that she had tried my chicken and there was nothing wrong with it … so had the chef . Clearly different taste than me ! There was apparently nothing they could do … I beg to differ and beg you to avoid wasting your money and avoid this restaurant and it’s poor food and rude staff.More
Friendly staff, great menu choice, tried 5 main course dishes over 2 visits, couldn’t fault them, all really tasty and good value.
