I have eaten here a few times over the years but I think it has changed hands during that time - the staff have definitely changed. On this occasion I orderdered 11 fish suppers to take away. The food was cooked to order but it was still quick thanks to some good teamwork by the staff. The haddock and Chips... More

Have been to this chippy on many an occasion not sure if new owners or not but it looks like it is closed when you drive past. We bought chip cones but it is just frozen chips and not proper chippy chips but maybe for the trade they get thats all they can serve up. Years ago the car park... More

The curry sauce was good too but maybe, with hindsight, not the perfect choice to accompany haggis - gravy would have been a better choice. I would definitely... More

Yes prices are inflated here but really enjoyed our portion of fish and chips. Large portions and able to sit outside on a lovely evening was a bonus. Will definitely be back here again.

it was too hard to drive last on my way back from a long walk. bearing in mind I was hungry enouh to eat my own boots, I threw away half the chips. Hard an tested odd. the battered fish was smallish, especially at 7.50 for a fish supper, but was tasty and well cooked in front of me.

We were starving and against my better judgement bought fish and chips. Mistake. Grossly overpriced and it was the smallest fish I've seen in my life!! Disgraceful. Chips were terrible. Should have driven on to ballater chipper- never again

We arrived in Braemar on 2nd Sept to visit family and to take in the atmosphere of the games. We decides to have a take away and popped down to the chip shop. After standing in the lengthy queue for approximately 10mins the staff announced that it was 8pm and they were no longer taking orders despite the fact that... More

Local eatery with a good selection on their menu. We ate the fish and chips. Large portions and by far, the best we had on our trip.
