Great hotel in the throws of refurb. Brilliant family hotel with very friendly staff. Restaurant was great and unfussy. Would recommend this to friends and family although not a lot to do in Ardrishaig itself, but a walk along the Crinan Canal was most pleasant. The weather was was very warm in mid May on the days before and after... More

Visited here with friends for tea. The meal was lovely and the Mushroom Onion and Thyme soup was delicious as was my gammon steak only to be spoiled by burnt soggy chips that looked was a reheat. Lovely place friendly staff

I was staying in a nearby B&B and needed to find somewhere for dinner. Good food, good portions and good prices. Bacon and black pudding salad with poached egg was probably my favourite dish, but all the food was lovely and served piping hot including the naan and rice with the curry.

Having found a rentokil box beside my bed and corroded handle in the shower is not my idea of a good night. Restaurant needs a good clean and food not that great. You really need to up your standards for people to stay here. Won't be staying again.

I stayed for one night and it was warm, comfortable and friendly, The room I stayed in was disabled friendly and I recommend anyone with a disability to stay here ( I am not disabled) The restaurant serves lovely food beautifully prepared even though it is off season, Breakfast well presented and the service efficient and helpful. Great little hotel,

We ate here two nights in a row whilst staying at a local B&B (Kilfinnan View). The food on both occasions was very nice. A reasonable selection was on the menu, but don't expect fine dining - this is good quality "everyday" food at reasonable prices. Service on the first evening was good, but the second evening (maybe because they... More

There are not many places to eat in Ardrishaig in the evening. This restaurant was drab and impersonal. The food was not exciting but edible.

Dropped in here for lunch after a brisk walk up the hill. The restaurant is a little dated but this was more than made up for by the good, honest pub grub and the service from a delightful young lady (sorry, I didn't get her name). The fish and chips were spot-on, as was the salmon baguette. Recommended

We stayed for three nights at the Grey Gull and whilst it was comfortable enough it was very dated. Our room was very plain but a bit rough around the edges, like a hook having been taken off the back of the bathroom door leaving a broken patch, and no information in the room apart from the restaurant times on...
