Situated in the picturesque village of Tayvallich on the shores of Loch Sween, the Inn overlooks the beautiful natural harbour of Tayvallich bay. At the heart of this small and vibrant community, the Tayvallich Inn has always been a popular meeting place for sailors, holidaymakers, more recently kayakers and all who enjoy our warm hospitality and good food. Established over 30 years ago, the Tayvallich Inn specialises in fresh, locally caught seafood, much of which is landed on our doorstep from the cold, pristine waters of the sound of Jura. Along with seafood we serve other fresh produce, sourcing locally where ever possible.

Second visit this year and worth going out your way to try their food. Been to a lot of restaurants in Argyll but this is by far the best sea food you can get.

Friendly, cosy on a cold night, good service and excellent food. Salmon Pate and Sweet Potato and Spinach Curry were especially good. We ate in the bar but could order from the full menu. Highly recommended.
Visited for lunch whilst visiting friends. The food was amazing and the service excellent. Very welcoming. And how they dealt with 20 people turning up unannounced was very good. Why do people do that? It nor only means slow food for the big group but...More
Came to Tayvallich Inn for lunch and booked dinner as well! Lovely spot, really friendly and helpful staff. Very good beer and wines, great choice. Top notch home cooked food, couldn't fault it. Will be back!
We visited the pub first for lunch. The fish n chips and mussles were outstanding. They have some nice ales on tap too. I recommend the highlander. Beautiful location with a nice sea view. Two days later we went back for dinner in their restaurant....More
Had a wonderful meal here in absolutely stunning setting. We had smoked salmon and prawn stack for starters. Hand dived scallops, pancetta, linguine in a wine, garlic and Chile broth with garlic bread. The food was absolutely delicious would highly recommend.

Me and my girlfriend were visiting the area and were looking for a spot to refuel and the Tayviallich inn did not disappoint. Crab claws for a starter is messy but a must and the mussels with a rich sauce and chips were amazing.
