Thank you for your great review! Reviews like these are very important to small independent cafes and it's good to know you enjoyed your experience with us. Our daily sandwich is always popular, the pork you had is supplied by our local butchers; McIntyres. We...More

Much like Rothesay itself this café has seemingly not progressed beyond the mid-1970s. Whereas Rothesay projects this stasis with an element of nostalgic charm, The Coffee Stop does not. It is clearly proud of its place in the community, having old pages of "The Buteman"...More

We are sorry you did not appreciate our decor in our small cafe of Rothesay memorabilia. Generally this prompts a number of discussions especially as the majority of the items are originals. I fail to understand how you justify one star based on this? Maybe...More

Without question the rudest staff I've ever had the misfortune to meet. Bute is beautiful- do yourself a favour and don't ruin it by going here. My daughter (6 years old) cried because the "mean lady swore a lot". Just stay clear.More

So glad you enjoyed your visit to our little cafe and the appreciation of our Americano! We strive to detach ourselves from the big brands like Starbucks & Costa's and promote independent small businesses; a few to be found in Rothesay!
