Great food, friendly staff, warm atmosphere. It adds to the experience looking at all the antiquities hanging from the roof or on the walls. Would come again.

We had a very pleasant meal here; loved the haggis and the beers. Go relatively early (between 6.30pm - 7pm) or you might not get a table. It's very, very popular.

Very popular place so can be hard to get a table at peak times. Good menu range at mid-prices, and daily specials which can be very good. Fairly prompt service given how busy they were. Also do take-away service so we indulged in several very good desserts to eat back in our holiday let.

We arrived here a family of 5 after completing Ben Lomond. The service was great and the food was even better! The children each had a starter and a main. Our son is 11 and he was curious as to a child meal would be sufficient and he struggled to finish his meal so he was impressed! We were also... More

The food was great. We were ready for food after our first days walking and we weren't disappointed here. The service was absolutely right and you didn't have to wait too long even though the staff were really busy.

Not what it used to be. Portions appear to vary every night. Husband had disappointing fish and chips. He was given 3 small bits which were coated in batter. Very expensive for what he received. As it was only place to eat in balmaha we returned mid week. He ordered pizza. Daughter had the same type when she dined with... More

I have eaten in this 3 times this year at different times and different reasons. The last visit was when on my WHW adventure. On every occasion it was good and far more importantly the staff were very consistent and welcoming - food on each occasion was the same quality and of a high standard - it is really pleasing as... A great welcome, early access to our very comfortable room and an outstanding evening meal. The staff were very professional and really wanted customers to enjoy their stay. The chef produced a first class meal with two terrific specials of the day: vegetable broth and sea bass fillets. Great atmosphere on the shore of Loch Lomond.

Perfectly situated at the bottom of Conic Hill, we regularly dine in the restaurant after our hikes in the beautiful surrounding hillside. The staff are very friendly (and exotic!), the food excellent, and the atmosphere very warm and cosy. We are looking forward to staying in one of the rooms over the October break.

Only had drinks but there was a lovely welcoming atmosphere... had been recommended earlier on our trip and we were pleased to get a seat on the tables outside. Menu looked excellent, local food and interesting combinations. Priced reasonably and let us fill our water bottles no bother.
