Had lunch at this modest but delightful wee cafe at Rhu Marina. The surprise is that for somewhere that looks like a simple cafe it turns out delicious and substantial food. I started with the Cullen Skink. Unfortunately, many establishments see Cullen Skink as a cynical ploy to charge £5 for half a pint of milk and a chopped spud.... More

Really nice cafe ideally located right by the marina. Food is great, with a good choice from the menu and also very good value for money. Staff are cheery and friendly.

We were recommended to give Cafe Rhu a try by a relative who had a boat berthed in the marina. We called in on the off chance as we were passing. We ordered the full Scottish breakfast, it was cooked freshly and was really good value for money. They also do a selection of home baking and snacks. You need... More

We called into the cafe for lunch. The staff who were extremely friendly made us feel very welcome. We both had chilli dogs and chips from on the specials board. They were delicious, a good portion and the homemade chips were excellent. Definitely give it a try.

We eat ear quite often after sailing. Take away available too which is handy when we're working on the boat. Home baking is really great. Friendly service. The cafe also does catering for small group functions. All in all highly recommended.

Bacon roll every Friday: an unmissable event. When friends come to stay, Friday Night Fish and Chips is a must, as is breakfast on Sunday morning. They also do an outstanding Cullen Skink. David, Pat and the girls have created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and provide consistently excellent food.

Use this little cafe quite a lot prior to and after sailing, best time is Sunday Brunch although all of the food is tasty and fresh. Friendly and efficient staff. Whether a sit down meal or takeaway I can highly recommend.
