Walked from Colingham along coastal path looking for lunch. Dont be put off by rather dowdy exterior. Friendly staff. Extensive menu. Lovely fresh seafood platter. Reasonably priced.

Had a meal here on the 30th December, quite a busy bar lovely food, very friendly locals. We went for the smaller plate offering which was more than adequate.

Stayed in pubs accommodation across road from pub. Pub gets very busy, but is still very friendly. Serves good beer and food. Although a little chilly outside the bar was lovely and warm. Football is shown on tv,s in the bar.

Dogs are welcome in the bar but not in the restaurant. Booking is recommended in the summer season as we do get very busy. Bar tables are limited so if you have a dog I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment
