Excellent little cafe with extremely friendly welcoming staff. 5 of us decided to have breakfast there in the hope that it would set us up for a days walking, and we weren't disappointed. Whilst some members of the party didn't want certain items, the staff, rather than just agree to the request, offered an extra sausage/rasher etc in its place,... More

The friendly staff can give you a potted history and development of Dalbeattie. There is a good basic range of food and drink available at affordable prices. The decor, including the toilet facilities are in need of an upgrade. If you want good wholesome fare then this is the place.

Maureen, the owner, bends over backwards to please the customers and it's a very friendly place in general. We went in once with our young grandson who wanted a strawberry milkshake. He finished this in record time and we... More

Perfect little café. Visited many a time for breakfast rolls or a quick lunch. Service is just what you would want. Homemade food, cakes and treats have always been great. Very reasonably priced. GF available

Had lunch here today. Staff friendly and helpful but food rather unappetising and rather crudely served.

We called into Dalbeattie with a group of friends on a cycle tour on Easter Sunday. We were surprised to find the cafe open and even more surprised to find that it provided an excellent range of good food. The waitress was very friendly and very helpful. A great stop!
