Good value, good tasting, good portions, friendly staff, quick service - what more could you ask for? And right next door to good garden centre!

Visited for a Sunday lunch, but to avoid crowd, came a bit latter as we didn't book. The lunch is being served until late into afternoon what is always a bonus. Menu is very extensive and the is lots to choose from for everyone's taste....More
Love the bistro, great food, location, staff. You will never leave here hungry. Cakes are to die for beware the banoffee ( spool good).
We ate there last night, it was dreadful. Cold uncooked meal, was sent back and returned in an almost same condition. NO SERVICE to speak of, very haphazard would not recommend and would not go back
Evening meal - excellent portions. Friendly staff. Shame it's seen s part of the Wigtown House Hotel as it's far better than the hotel itself
Excellent food, very reasonably priced. staff very friendly. We all had different meals and each one was excellent in it's own right! Salmon, 2 Gammon, Lasagne. Very good portions
Early Sunday evening 3 course meal. Good quality roast soup and desert all for a reasonable price. Good service and found a nice table to read my book as I was alone.
