Interesting food in a lovely atmosphere. Good for a special occasion. We enjoyed the lobster knuckle and raviolo for starters and the duck and shrimp for our entrees.

My husband and I ate at Iris last night for the 3rd time. This restaurant is located in Midtown in a quaint little house with individual dining rooms that have roughly 4 tables in each room making it cozy and quiet and a great place to take a date or just have a conversation. There is some street parking but... More

We wanted to find a nice restaurant to celebrate the sale of our home with the recent relocation to Memphis. The starters (knuckle sandwich, fried oyster salad, foie gras) were all excellent. The main courses (pork and potatoes, scallops) didn't stand up after the wonderful beginning. We ended with the bread pudding, the highlight of the night.

If you want "fine dining" without the valet and penguin suits, this is the place! This residential-home turned milieu of delight leaves you at a loss when trying to decide which alluring dish to experience. Chef Kelly est vraiment magnifique!

My wife and I take out two boys everywhere!--including this restaurant. One could see that the waitress was a bit nervous, but by the end of the night, she was laughing and enjoying our company. This is one of the nicest restaurants in Memphis. Because of that, it's meant only for adults. However, my two sons enjoyed sharing our 5... More

If you are looking for a special occasion restaurant, Iris definitely fits the bill. The service and food are consistent and delicious. With a southern, N.O. flair, Chef English always delivers very tasty and creative dishes. Kudos to the bar as well!

This place impressed me from the starters all the way to dessert. We had 3 starters: bbq shrimps, fried oysters and fried brussel sprouts. . All superb! I ordered the Surf & Turf for my main course. It's a classic dish for them. It's a sirloin steak stuffed with cheese and shrimp which were substitutes for blue cheese and oysters.... More

We went to Iris for a belated birthday dinner. I was skeptical but can honestly say our meal lived up to the hype. The food was exquisitely presented and tasted amazing. Portions are typical for fine dining. The place itself is in a victorian house. It feels small and private- in a GOOD WAY! Do NOT go to Iris without... More

We were with a group of 18 people that I had organized. Twelve of us were in a private room, and the other six were in a separate room where there was another table for 6. The service was outstanding and everyone raved about their meals and desserts. I ordered the Amberjack which was delightful. Others at our table ordered... More
