We have eaten here often. The food is good. We love the hot apple pie and ice cream served piping hot in iron skillet. Barbeque and Hamburgers are good too. Service was fine.

This spot was great! High energy, family friendly, live music, and great food and service. We ordered seafood...catfish, shrimp, and gumbo. It was great. Would definitely recommend.

Great restaurant. I visit Everytime I visit Memphis. Great restaurant. It's worth the visit. Parking is horrible downtown. But it's worth the park around the block and walk. Def a part of Memphis history

Great food! I had the gumbo, excellent! My husband had the fried catfish and thought it was one of the best he has tasted. Cafeteria-type place, not fancy- but worth the visit

This is a good solid restaurant for BBQ and Shrimp and Gumbo. I really enjoyed the Gumbo and the Grilled Shrimp in butter The service staff was great and very personable. Definitely some characters there:)

This place was crowded for good reason! the food was amazing- and they serve beer and wine. You can see the guys cooking and smell that sweet BBQ all the way down the street!! Would go back for sure! The service was great also!

We went to Blues City Cafe because we wanted to try their ribs, but enjoyed SO MUCH more than just ribs!!! The ribs are everything they are touted to be - so tender, great flavor, cooked perfectly! And the apple dumpling - amazing! There was a band playing as well - Brandon Cunning! Awesome!!! Great entertainer! And Keith is amazing!... More

We went here based on TA reviews for BBQ and were not disappointed. We split a full rack and it was plenty for two. The Only thing I would change would be more vegetables. The cole slaw side was very small and a small salad was good but cost $5.00.

Best venue on Beale for live music. Had a great show on and service was excellent. Bartender even played drums for one song behind the bar!

One of the best places downtown for a variety of food and music. Ribs, BBQ, fish, anything southern is tasty.

Thank Dustin J
