A great place with lovely food. The portions a very large so a good idea is to share unless you have a bottomless stomach! Situated at the top end of Beale Street.

This place was so good! My husband and I shared a rack of ribs with beans and slaw with a side of turnip greens washed it all down with a cold beer. Simply delicious! Atmosphere was great too! Friendly and funny waiter! Even got a little serenade from the cooks in the kitchen!

We made the mistake of going for the food and not the music. Our fault, the food was below average, ribs were bland and flavorless. The catfish was good, but very small serving. The music on the other hand was excellent! Go for the music and grab something to drink, skip the food!

We saw this place while exploring Beale Street in the afternoon. It looked like a funky diner and we checked out the menu. There were lots of choices ranging from steaks to sandwiches, fried shrimp to chicken strips, ribs to catfish and a lot more. Ten of us stopped in that night and enjoyed a great meal at reasonable prices.... More

I stopped in when I arrived in Memphis for a long weekend. I had the Cajun Garlic Skillet shrimp w/ steak fries. So good! Best coleslaw I had this entire weekend! The seasoning that they ahve on the table, is wicked good on everything. I went back for a second time, 2 days later and had the exact same thing!... More

The food was amazing!! This place was small and quaint. It reminds me of a little "hometown food" family type of atmosphere. People laughing and enjoying the night with fun and music. You gotta stop by and give them a try... if your looking for a place to enjoy the night life on Beale Street in Memphis.

My wife and I just stopped in for lunch on our first day in Memphis. It turned out to be the second best place we ate at. Worth going to.

The place to go for a great evening! If you don't mind sitting at a high table on a bar stool, go through to the bar/band area where there is a great atmosphere The menu is typical burger/steak type eats and the portions are enormous (but you can share a plate) Most people drink beer or sodas but our server... We didn't care for it at all. Too much grease and no flavor. Too noisy and you sit to close together.
