Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This little pub is an absolute gem. My daughters and their friends had use of The Den for a recent birthday. The Den was cosy and warm and beautifully decorated, with games, music, karaoke and so much more. They opted for the loaded fries -...all the home cooked toppings were beautiful, especially the boozy beef. Chris and Abi have very high standards that have been instilled into every member of staff, ensuring excellent customer service whoever you deal with. Thank you so much!More

What a fantastic place. It’s always these little pubs that amaze and delight. Last moment booking for lunch after Four Waterfalls walk so was bit tired, hungry & needed a bit of hospitality. New Inn….nailed it. Perfect place, just the nicest staff. Thank you,

Went here for an evening meal with partner. The staff were really friendly and polite and the food was amazing. Partner had a pie and it was filled with meat. The curry was also very good. I couldn’t fault the food. They also do local...gin. If you like gin try the chocolate orange, very good.More

Visited here for Sunday lunch. Rang on the morning and was lucky to get a table at the time we wanted. Not our first visit, but our first Sunday lunch. We were greeted by friendly staff and didn’t wait long to be served for a...drink or for our choices to be taken. We opted for the carvery but unfortunately service was extremely long! There was approximately 8 people in front of us who were sat close by. It was probably the best part of 45 minutes before we were able to get our food from the serving area. The serving area is very small & hardly any room to move, especially if there’s more than two of you getting food. The food was lovely and tasty delicious. The pub itself is warm and welcoming but could do with a lick of paint and some TLC,More

What a little gold mine! I came here with my dog to do 2 specific hikes. I was booked for another camp site but on arrival i wasn't happy and this place came up! It is a pub in a small village but it has...a small campsite across the road that you pay the pub £7 to stay in. I loved relaxing in this place. The staff were above and beyond friendly to me and my dog also. I'm deaf and i am always worried about fitting in or not being sure of things but the staff made me feel very welcome and like i was part of the furniture. The couple who own it are very friendly and asked how my day had been and gave my dog a lovely bout of attention too. It's serves food and the bar is open but only until 10pm. It's very close to the four falls trail and only 30 minutes to pen-y-fan. I would highly recommend staying here to camp and come in after a hard day to relax with a few beers or a meal if you wish. The garden is super cute too. 5 stars from me! It isn't the Ritz but i didn't want that anyway... I wanted somewhere to stay and somewhere for a beer after and i even had the privilege of chatting with some of the locals who were also friendly to me. Maybe one day I will come back to attempt another hike ... If i do ... It'll be here! No doubt ☺️More

Eclectic and relaxing pub with superb food, and the added bonus of being able to camp there. Had a great 2 night stay, plus a fabulous meal. Really enjoyed a 15 mile waterfall walk, along Nedd Fechan and Afon Mellte.

Called in here after a recommendation from the guide at the four waterfalls walk car park as we were famished after the trek. We were not disappointed! The food was incredible, and I’d go as far to say it was the best pub meal I...have ever had. Boozy beef pasty, chips and salad rounded off the day to absolute perfection. I did also have the amazing white bueno ice cream, proper ice cream too. Unbelievable. Staff were really friendly. Highly recommend this place. If it wasn’t so far from me in Bristol, I’d go every day! Well done guys, really top notch. Thank you for such a great end to our day, fantastic workMore

A fabulous little pub with the most amazing food! We were able to enjoy our Easter Sunday carvery, having booked our table for 5 well in advance! The food was awesome! The Nut Roast had been specially booked and was delicious, as were the turkey...and beef 😋 The puddings are to die for!! Definitely recommend saving some room for them, even if you have to share!More

Fantastic lovely little place with a small campsite. We stayed here for two nights in our camper van and ate both nights in the pub, the staff are fantastic and very friendly and the food is amazing! I would advise booking in advance as it...is a very small country pub so fills quickly. Basic amenities on the campsite but it’s beautiful and quiet and you can walk to the Waterfalls from there would highly recommend 😊More

One of the friendliness and warm welcomes I have received in a long time. The service was fantastic, and the food just as good. The pub allows dogs and there is plenty of parking. I would book a table in advance. Well done all

We had hoped to visit on Saturday night but the pub was fully booked. We took this as good sign so visited for a late lunch. The food was great and the staff welcoming. Just what was needed after a long Autumn walk!
