Reviewed yesterday NEW

As it was a sunny day and we had the dog, we fancied sitting outside, checked Trip advisor and found the Pen-y-Bryn, I can honestly say it was one of the nicest pub meals I & my family have had in a long time coupled with great staff I would highly recommend eating here.

Myself and my two daughters ate here one night when we were visiting the area. I cannot fault this restaurant at all. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and lovely inside. The staff are all very polite. The food was delicious and brilliantly priced.

Went here as guests of friends of the family. Not been here ourselves before, so a great find. Large, spacious, clean dining area. Great range of real ales, some local, and well kept. My wife and I had the wild boar and chorizo meatballs with pasta, a new addition to the menu. Very tasty and tender. Staff very helpful and... More

Took my sister and grandchildren for lunch at this fantastic place. The welcome was warm and friendly, the food excellent and the view outstanding. Great value for money. Onion rings are the biggest you will ever see and taste good too.

Accommodated everything we wanted- table by the window, allergies etc. Really lovely staff and very good quality food, well presented and delivered quickly. Best GF sticky toffee pudding I have had. Doesn't feel like a chain pub

Fantastic food & atmosphere. A mixed age group party with reasonable prices on the menu (for children also). Recommend for special occasions.

Eaten here a few times and always enjoyed the meal. Real ales, ciders and wines available. This is a popular venue at the weekend so it is advisable to book. Vegetarian meal of nut roast with a wine jus was the highlight for the GF, i had the lamb roast. Thee is car parking available and the restaurant is wheelchair... More

We were 12 people for lunch, and we were in the function room downstairs. The room was very pleasant and a good size. There were 16 chairs around the table which we had to move out of the way as it was too cramped. The table felt as though it had not been cleaned in a while, as the paper... More
