Having been on holiday recently and living in Devon maybe we have been spoilt with our ice cream choices but we walked away thinking bland taste and not worth the money. Shame the reputation does not live up to the product..

I can't really add much to what's already been said. Staff were courteous, coffee and toast were tasty and brought out quickly. Great views if you manage to get a seat at the back of the cafe overlooking the sea. Recommended.

I have been visiting Cadwaladers for years. At first it started out as a little shop just selling vanilla ice cream, now it is bigger and better. A lovely conservatory cafe overlooking the sea and more ice cream flavours than you can imagine. It is...More

On a hot afternoon the journey up the hill was well worth it to enjoy ice cream at its best, and the wife could enjoy a Sorbet.

We love this place the ice cream is to die for. When I first went 40 plus years ago this was the original and vanilla was the only flavour available and it's still as good today. The place has certainly changed with various flavours all...More

If you like ice cream, beat a path to the door of Cadwaladers. You won't find better anywhere in the world, Italy included. Can't recommend it too highly.

Went twice & sat inside. Enjoyed the ice cream, coffee & views. Pistachio tasted like almond however. Service fine.

The ice cream here is amazing!! The different varieties leave you with doubt in your own selection every time..... and the promise to yourself that you will have to try the second choice flavour on your next visit! Great to sit inside and gaze out...More

Cadwaladers was established in 1927 in the little village of Criccieth by David and Hannah Cadwalader. Over the years, we have expanded our popular ice cream and coffee cafes all over Wales and England, bringing the best quality service and products to our customers. We are proud to still serve our traditional recipe ice cream developed by Hannah Cadwalader (which still includes the famously secret ingredient!) and now our specially developed exclusive blend of espresso, hot chocolate and loose leaf tea which have been designed to redefine the standards of excellence in hot beverages. With our competitive prices, special products and caring team, we can assure you that we can provide options for all the family, including gluten free ice cream and cakes. So bring your friends, children, partner and dogs! To our lovely cosy cafés and relax in comfort whilst our friendly team treat you to the very best Wales can bring, served with a great deal of love and care.
