Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We popped in a couple of times during our 3 night stay in town. We just had coffee and cake. Other meals people were having looked very nice. I had latte and a piece of the best cherry bakewell I have ever eaten, home made,...beautiful, moist and absolutely delicious. Lovely staff. A must for a coffee and cake afternoon!More

We had a lovely lunch here. Small downstairs but more tables upstairs with good views. My seafood platter was delicious and generous with a generous portion of ciabatta to mop everything up with. Nothing to complain about at all.

Came across this delightful tea shop whilst walking in Criccieth on Sunday. Not many tea shops open on Sunday so what a find. Only had a snack and coffee but it was delicious. Great welcome staff excellent and food very good. Coming back to try...there breakfast.More

Found this little gem walking through Criccieth. We had a lovely meal and staff were very nice. Maybe one bugbear for some people would be dogs were allowed on the premises. Not everyone's cup of tea while eating. Overall though a nice experience and we...would return.More

Lovely Welsh breakfast with ‘proper’ tea. We also had a flat white coffee which my husband who’s a coffee snob pronounced ‘excellent’! Definitely one to remember if you’re lucky enough to live in Criccieth or just visiting. Thank you.

This one's not to be missed! Stumbled across this little cafe as we walked up from the beach. Thought it looked nice and gave it a try as we fancied a drink and a scone each. We were lucky enough to get a table in...the window upstairs, overlooking the street with the sea to our right. We really enjoyed our cold drinks (it was a warm day). I had an iced latte and my other half ordered a chocolate milk shake, which actually had real chocolate in it! Scones with jam and cream were delightful. We'll definitely be back, and maybe try some of the tempting lunch options on the menu.More

An excellent and friendly little seaside cafe/bistro. I had the large and delicious Welsh breakfast, my wife had an omelette and daughter had a toasted sandwich. The order was taken quickly and the food arrived promptly. There is seating inside and out and dogs are...welcome.More

Lovely little bistro. Tasty home-cooked food well presented with generous potions. Staff are friendly, cheerful and pleasant. Ate here last time we were in Criccieth a few years ago and it is good to see this bistro is still in business and still serving good...food. A big plus for us is that it is DOG FRIENDLY.More
