After a few attempts finally got our act together and booked in advance and well worth the effort. Opted for starter and main but had no room for pudding.

Lovely busy place and friendly staff. We visited a couple of weeks ago and although we hadn't pre-booked, we just called in on the off chance, we were very lucky to have had a table for two on a busy Monday night a couple of weeks ago. We both chose off the special set menu. Lovely flavour combinations in everything... More

We were staying at the Bron Rhiw guest house where they recommended this restaurant. From the first moment we entered we felt welcome. It's a pleasant restaurant and not cramped. Service during both our visits was efficient and friendly. The food was so good on our first visit that we went back two nights later. Although there were several dishes... More

Booked here for our final night in Criccieth as something special to end the holiday with and we weren't disappointed. The food is excellent and service was very friendly - genuinely interested hosts and servers. I ate the seared hake in a mild curry sauce with my wife opting for the lamb. Both were great dishes but the hake really... More

We had a great evening dining at Poachers. I love the fact the menu changes every week and all the ingredients are so fresh. Our starters were generous portions and very tasty- I had beef pancake and my husband had pate- which were both fantastic. For mains I had the lamb platter which had different cuts of lamb all beautifully... More

My Wife and I had dinner here on a busy night with a full restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and we had a nice table for 2 near the window. My Wife ordered the pheasant wuth rice and veg and I opted for the sauted hake on a bed of stir fry with Asian spices. Both meals were really... More

We made a reservation as it was a Saturday night, and I'm glad we did as they were completely booked that night. The atmosphere/decor is a little date, but the food was absolutely delicious. We had the fish trio and the lasagna - both were excellent.

In the small town of Criccieth on the main road is this little restaurant. Surprisingly busy for a Monday night, the staff were polite and attentive. The drinks were average price for a restaurant and the food prices likewise. I had the lasagne which was very good and my partner the roast lamb which was equally tasty. We both had... More

Three of us had a very pleasant evening meal in a lovely little seaside town. Relaxed but careful service and between us we had a range of choices from across the menu. A good wine selection and we enjoyed the meal very much.
