This place does not look much from the outside apart from the freshly baked bread and cakes in the window. They do the most excellent snacks mostly made from fresh ingredients and offering great value. A simple toasted cheese sandwich was laden with fresh cheese...More

Time for lunch on a pleasant sunny day in Dolgellau. Then disaster struck. Two cups of Coffee, so bad they were undrinkable and had to be exchanged for cans of Coke. Half cooked chips, served 5 minutes before the Panini’s arrived. On requesting a refund...More

Located right next to the main car park, this cafe is very popular, so can get a little cramped on occasion. Food, cakes and various drinks on offer, alcoholic too. You may need to queue for the loo however.

Called in here before our two hour journey home. The cakes looked amazing and it was a difficult choice narrowing down the delicious cakes to just the one. I had a cappuccino that was delicious and a custard slice. The custard slice was huge and...More

regarding your claim that an insect was found in a custard slice, on further investigation this was found to be a piece of ginger cake, possibly attached to th custard slice by the serving tongs that we use to serve our cakes with. Important to...More

Called in yesterday on the way back from Caernarfon to South Wales with some friends - all enjoyed the cakes and pasties/pies from this lovely little cafe. Plenty of parking available. Another bookmark for the satnav :)

Clean cafe with a pleasant lady serving but the tea was awful and my cheese pastie was ruined by what I suspect was a robust microwaving. The real deal breaker was the loo. DISGUSTING! Even the impending 2 hour drive couldn't encourage me to use...More

Stopped off for a much needed bite to eat. The food was ok, but was microwaved so lost any heat very quickly. The advertised "handcut" chips were very definitely not hand cut. They looked and tasted like frozen fried chips. The toilet was a dirty,...More

firstly, you were not dealing with the owner on this occasion. why you would make assumptions from reading previous reviews is beyond me. regarding the temperature of your pasties....you could have asked for these to be heated a little more to suit your liking, afterall...More
