Popped in as conveniently located on Monmouth High Street.
Enjoyed delicious warm hand made Belgian Apple Cake with ice cream and Toffee, Pecan and Date with cream. Accompanied by Earl Grey and Breakfast Tea.
Nice surroundings and reasonably priced.

lovely lunch ,cake and fresh coffee, nice to find a place that has good atmosphere but not loud and rowdy .Staff friendly ,everything served with a smile cannot praise this tea room enough .Not to be missed if you are visiting Monmouth.
Cramped area at the back of the shop - over priced I felt over £6 for small latte and cake. Waitress kept hovering and whisked away plate as soon as finished. Made me feel uncomfortable. Won't visit again.More

I am sorry you were disappointed, as well as the seats downstairs our main area is our upstairs Tearoom so you may have preferred that. with regards to the price, you must have had Clotted cream with your cake to take it over £6.
Popped in this this lovely little venue whilst visiting Monmouth. Very nice welcome and offered us seats near front window. Tried the bara birth with a cup of tea. Very nice indeed as not had this cake before.
