Great little traditional pub with a large menu. The food is freshly cooked using local ingredients and is well worth it, the lamb shank is to die for. Go out of your way and have an evening here.

Chosen for a pre-Christmas family get-together yesterday. A snowy journey ended with a friendly welcome and a delicious lunch - cheese souffle starter and turkey parcel are highly recommended!

We serve a variety of meals from a BLT to a Trio of Game - wild boar hare and venison - All of our food is freshly cooked to order and always locally sourced. We are a traditional Inn that serves exceptionally good food. We are well known for the variety of real ales available and during the summer months we always have real perry and real cider also available.
