Stopped here on the way back from portmerion for a quick drink as we were walking and liked the place so much we booked for a meal the following day. Excellent food and service. Was great having a drink by the large open fireplace.

We booked for two nights in the village of Portmeirion, We decided to eat at The Castle on the first night. We found it smart, well organised and the food was very good. I can recommend the Golden Bitter beer.

Castell Deudraeth is an informal brasserie style restaurant on the Portmeirion estate serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Lunch served 12.00 to 2.00pm daily. Booking is advised especially during school holidays however if you turn up without a booking we will always try to accommodate your requirements. A free entry voucher to Portmeirion is available with a two course lunch. Parking outside; no steps on ground floor. Castell Deudraeth has 11 rooms and suites upstairs (with lift and stair access). Open all year.
