Another lovely meal. Taste and spices left us with a smile on our faces. Customer service next to none, well done. Wouldn't think about going elsewhere for an Indian meal.

The chicken Tikka was amazing, the tandoori king prawns were the best my partner had Best Indian restaurant in Pwllheli!!!!!!
Curries were all a bit bland. Not enough flavour and spice and definitely far too sweet! Service was friendly and good value though
Looking for somewhere different, thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Food was amazing. Service very efficient and staff very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.
This was our first visit here and I’m pleased to say it was a Great visit, lovely food, nice surroundings, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere
Great food and service. Provided a highchair for our son which was really helpful. Reasonably priced and we really enjoyed our food - would visit/get a takeaway again!
Warm and Friendly Spoons in a great central position. Both the food and drinks were served very quickly in a friendly and efficient way. Would go here again on my next visit to North Wales
A real gem of a place, really superb food, freshly made according to your taste. Really friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is welcoming with a fabulously rustic feel in the great little town of Pwllheli. We found our Chicken Tikka Biryani really stunning.
My friend and I were recently on holiday near Pwhelli. Whilst there we decided as we both like a good curry we would treat ourselves. The Jewel in the Crown did not disappoint! I had the lamb vindaloo, whilst my friend had a chicken tikka...dupiaz, we shared some mushroom rice, chips and a garlic bread. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals there was plenty to eat and we were both extremely full leaving some rice and the chips as just no room lef!! I have to say it was one of the most flavoursome curries I've ever had and I've had a few, my friend completely agreed. The only disappointing thing was that we left it til the last night to go if we'd have gone earlier in the week we would've definitely been going again. Service and food top notch will most certainly be going again if ever in the area couldn't recommend highly enoughMore
Having ordered a sharing platter for 2 (£12.90) as a take away on arriving home we found we had been given a chicken tikka starter (£5.90), we did get the garlic naan we ordered. The meal was also cold, we will not be going again...even though we live a 2 minute walk from the restaurant and will also tell all our local (Welsh and English) friends not to bother eitherMore

We visited the Jewel in the crown tonight as a family of 5. We love a good curry and are often sceptical about trying new places, however we are on holiday so had to take a stab in the dark and they did NOT dissapoint....They were extremely welcoming and fantastic with young children there customer service was outstanding. As food the food it was exceptional! We would highly recommend and hope to come back and visit again in the future!More
Ordered our food and drinks, got the starter onion Bhaji that’s the 1 out of 5 which was hot, ordered the main Chicken Tikka Shasilk, came on hotplate but the meat, couple of peppers lots of lumps of onion wasn’t sizzling or even hot! asked...for rogan josh curry sauce, but to be given grey gloppy sauce with vegetables in! (my partners sauce was the same with indistinguishable vegetables and again no spicy heat, charged £4.90 for that!) I said this isn’t rogan josh, he said yes it is, then he started looking for a tomato in the sauce!!! Rogah josh is a red pepper based sauce so red, missing peppers and tomatoes, not grey and no spicy heat to it, the meal was a disgusting even the popadoms where soft!!! Not worth the £47.70 did take my sauce off £3.90!! Left leaving the food!More

Had a great evening here! I'd never visted but some in our group had before. Food and service were all excellent. Staff were very helpful in answering questions and adjusting dishes to peoples liking. Every dish was delicious. There were 10 of us who all...had Poppadoms, Starters and Mains. Best Indian I've had for a long time. Would definitely visit again.More
Went as a group early Friday evening. All ordered different dishes. All food very high standard. Very well looked after by friendly staff. Also busy with takeaway food. Will definitely return.
