We love Chinese food and spending the week in the area thought we would try here. We ordered what we would usually at our local Chinese the crispy chilli beef and salt and pepper chicken, with fried rice and chips. The beef was the best we had ever had and the chicken was also very good. Rice and chips also... More

We wanted to have Chinese while on holiday. The other Chinese were closed in town so ended up at Phoenix. We ordered the amount we would at home but the portions were so big it lasted two full meals. The food we had was piping hot and full of flavour. The only issue was the lengthy wait as we we... More

Nice, clean, good choice on menu. İt's right in the middle of this small seaside town but there's plenty of parking nearby. Good size portions and reasonably priced. We phoned ahead and it was all ready and bagged up when we arrived. It looks a little unappealing from outside but it's modern and clean when you're through the door. Definitely... More

Back in Pwllheli again and just had to go back for another takeaway to save cooking. This place is great value for money! Massive portions, enough to fill even the hungriest of bellies. Food is always hot and tasty and have never had to wait to long for it.

Avoid. Horrible food. Asked for a duck chow main and got beef with vermicelli noodles and it was dry and tasteless. Asked for a mild crispy beef and got it extremal hot. The young chow fried rice had not taste and was really bland. The only nice thing was the free prawn crackers the had taste to them. Will not... More

Ordered food for 6 people, not a small order I realise but gave extra time for it to be prepared as we weren't ready to eat. We were told 20 mins but asked for about 30 mins. When we got there it was busy. Always a good sign for a takeaway. But we were waiting an additional 15 mins. The... More

We ordered in the shop, and the food was ready within the time the lady serving said. Portion sizes are generous, with all food cooked well. Great flavour in the rice and mains, with tasty prawn toast and seaweed. We picked up the menu to order again another time!

The food was good the portions huge well worth the money. We had the phoenix starter and that would have done us with some rice.
