Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having been walking the Anglesey Coastal Path for many years, my wife and I have dropped on umpteen noteworthy eating establishments. Banc rates up there with the best. Whether it be the the quality of the food, or the really good value, or the jovial...quality of a happy man running his own cafe. In 70 miles of walking it is the only one we have had lunch at, then returned for afternoon tea, then had lunch again the next day. We enjoyed the quality (homemade quiche & sausage roll trice), the value, and especially the welcome. And I appreciate Staffordshire crockery. It is not actually on the Coastal Path, or even by the sea front. It is maybe 10 minutes away, with an interesting walk up the high street. But it is so worth seeking out. While we were there we got the impression it was well patronised by locals, which should be a recommendation in itself. I have just been telling 2 other families, coming to Anglesey how to find it. On a practical point, dogs are welcome in the garden. So obviously not when it is raining, but also after inclement weather when it is still unacceptable under foot (paw ?) We expect to call when we do the next bit of the Coastal Path.More

Sadly the quality of the home made food was not really very good at all. Maybe we arrived on a bad day who knows but it's not somewhere that I would go back to

Friendly family run cafe. Worth going just for the ploughman’s. Enjoy returning here and great for lunch or refreshment stop with reasonable prices. Well done.

Whilst eating our food which was fine, the couple next to us aloud their dog to sit at the table and lick their dinner plates. The dog owners then proceeded to smoke a vape whilst there were no smoking signs. Cafe owners should make it...clear about dogs licking customers plates and smoking. Spoilt our lunchMore

Looking forward to trying the welsh delicacies but having found an outside table we were told in no uncertain terms it was reserved and there was no room and we should have booked. We saw 2 small metal tables that I am sure could have...been put together but by that time the lack of interest rather put us off. Thankfully the spa shop had picnic stuff which we ate in the pretty riverside park near a river which contained tiny trout. On the way back about 75 min later we noticed the oiutside terrace of the cafe was empty.More

Having read the review here re dragons, we felt safe in going to this delightful cafe. They adhered strictly to covid regulations, which was very reassuring. The table was sanitised before we were invited into the small garden, and there was sanitiser on each table....We were given a warm and friendly welcome on each visit, as were our two dogs. The coffee, as we remembered from previous years, was superb. Food was excellent and well presented. We look forward to visiting again next year.More

Called in for lunch today, warm friendly greeting by the owner, everywhere was spotlessly clean and Covid safe. Good lunch menu, we had paninis made fresh to order served with generous portions of fresh salad and crisps accompanied by a huge pot of tea for...two (makes a nice change from a mug with a tea bag!). Can recommend and would go again.More

Lovely to find a cafe that is covid rule compliant and with excellent food. Had two absolutely delicious scones. The staff were really lovely and made us very welcome. Tables were sanitised and we felt very safe there. Would highly recommend them.

Today my husband and I treated ourselves to lunch in the garden. We were able to take our dogs and water is provided for them. The menu was surprising. It had all the usual stuff but also a selection of things a bit different. Prices...were very affordable for any pocket. Tea comes in a nice big pot so enough for two mugs each with an offer of extra water if you want it. All condiments are in sealed packets, as is sugar. The tables are sanitised before anyone is allowed to sit down. Hand sanitizer on every table and the staff really do wear masks above the nose all of the time. Anyone can feel safe here. The food was lovely. We both had the loaded potato skins which you can have with just cheese or chicken, ham and cheese with no price increase. The staff were so welcoming and treat locals and tourists to a pleasant experience. It’s very rare you can say this but there was absolutely nothing wrong! Service was fast too. I was told that they will be starting a men only event on Wednesdays from 6-8pm so boys if you want to get out without your wife and get fed at the same time it’s for you. Ladies get the men out of the house for a couple of hours!More

We were severely & publicly reprimanded when we went to sit at a vacant outdoor table for lunch which had no reserved sign. We had unwittingly contravened sacrosanct policies to wait to be shown to a table and not wearing a face covering! We should...have walked away but there were no other options for lunch available in the village. We put on face masked and were shown to an indoor table less than 2m from the front door! Sooo embarrassing!! In the end it really wasn't worth it as first & second menu choices were not available and the quiche was only 5cm.More

We would have rated it a five star however the bill was priced incorrectly so ensure you check that. Despite this though our lunch was greatly enjoyable. We ate our lunch outside and the man who served us was very lovely! He was very accommodating...and cracked jokes with our children. I was very impressed with the food and it was quite special for just an ordinary lunch. I particularly enjoyed their Welsh cakes!More

The rudest owner i have ever experienced ! I was so upset at the way i was spoken to when i asked if there was a toilet, after having placed an order for drinks and food for 7 people. I had no problem going down...the road to use the public toilet but i didn’t need to be practically matched out the door ! I was there for my birthday lunch and i was treated absolutely terrible. Horrible horrible woman !More

I can’t be sure but I would think so. There is also an outdoor sitting area and as the sun always shines on Anglesey this should be fine for you!?!
