Booked a table for 4 and a table for 2 as per C-19 requirements , my only gripe was we are a 6 in our own “safe bubble” the table was booked early on in the week but our tables were at a distance ,...but we are all following the rules. The christmas decor in the Black Seal is always very festive , the staff were very attentive and the tapas food was lip smacking on presentation and even better in taste. We loved it , we will be backMore

We had a great dining experience at the Black Seal, the decor is very stylish, and the general atmosphere is relaxed and unrushed, plus the views over the bay are stunning. We started with the Goats Cheese, and the salt & pepper calamari, both dishes...were lovely, very tasty. For mains we both had the Pesto chicken Pizzas, I asked for extra Jalapenos and my wife requested no Balsamic glaize, both requests were met, the pizzas were really tasty, nice thin base and the right amount of toppings, delicious. The staff were spot on, helpful & cheerful - we would definetly recommend visiting. We dine out every week at different restaurants, the Black Seal is one of the best dining experiences we've had - keep up the good work, we'll be back after lock down.More

We have been for lunch a couple of times recently having booked outside tables an hour or so before eating. It is a lovely restaurant with characterful inside dining and a lovely large terrace overlooking the bay. They have a really good menu and the...standard of food is consistently good as is the standard of service. Really friendly and efficient staff.More

Stopped for a coffee here on a day trip round Angelsey. All tables were socially distanced and though we didn’t eat here, those that did were clearly enjoying their meal. The food looked and smelled delicious. We enjoyed our drinks outdoors overlooking the bay, on...a bright day which was great. We intend to return to enjoy a meal here when we next visit.More

Eaten and drank here many times and will keep returning as long as the service and staff keep up the good work! Lovely location right on bay front- treat yourself to a merchandise hoodie to keep the sea winds at bay. Great food and drinks...and not overly expensiveMore

Went to have early tea with children, my daughter needed toilet before we ate. I was told I needed to wear a mask to enter the property. I told him I was exempt. I was then asked to produce proof. I looked at him in...disbelief, as my daughter was desperate for the toilet. Do you really think, if I could wear a mask that I would be standing here having this conversation with you? With everyone looking and listening. I was embarrassed. My daughter asked me whilst washing her hands, why he was so mean? And said she didn't feel comfortable eating there now. I told her that we wouldn't. We deserve to feel safe and welcome and choose where to spend our money. On exiting, I mentioned to the bully of a manager that I realise he needs to ask but his way was unacceptable. He continued to be rude and said he only asked a question. On exiting a younger member of staff approached us and apologised for the behaviour of the manager. The kindness was appreciated.More

Sat outside for a late lunch on the last Saturday in August. A great location when sat outside looking over the bay. The food is okay there and had the 'mild and meaty pizza'. Not great, but okay.

Great Setting, and Internal Decor Better than average but there is no seething for good. Great location at the end of the beach and well decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful and prices were fair. Main courses were very good and the desserts although...nice were average. Drinks prices were fair as well, one issue with the specialist gins was that although there were many to choose from all were listed with lots of detail including how to serve them. I was a little disappointed that they all came with the same tonic and a lump of lemon and lime, this is OK for standard pub, but not a venue with a specialist gin list in my opinion. Having said that we would go back again as we generally enjoyed the visit.More

Had the biggest surprise walking through the door. It looks amazing as you walk in. We were shown a table up stairs after scanning in. The view was beautiful. We ordered a sandwich each and chunky chips. Our drinks came quickly as did our meal....I can honestly say our sandwiches were delicious. We've popped into many places for a quick sandwich but this was like a meal. Plenty of extras which were very tasteful. We watched the staff constantly clean everywhere and the owner/manager making sure everyone followed covid rules. The one way system worked well. We'll definitely come back . Our waitress was very attentive without being intrusive and the decor made us feel relaxed.More
