Good Evening Miss M...... !!! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review on Tripadvisor, although being a very negative, somewhat unfounded review. As the business owner, it is my responsibility to know what happens in my establishment every second of...More
Stopped here for a quick lunch whilst out cycling. A very nice sausage and egg toasted sandwich and excellent flat white coffee. Cleopatra’s is a lovely café in this picturesque village in Denbighshire, Wales (although only just over the border!). It’s very smart and clean...and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I’ll definitely visit here again!More
Hello, today me and my husband passed through this city.saw this coffee shop So they went to have a drink. It's a very cute shop.
Delightful visit to our local this morning. Had the pleasure of catching up with the astonishingly youthful proprietors and swapping stories over glorious coffee.
We love going to Cleopatra's. The food is great, the staff are friendly and always interested in their customers. There are even home made cakes. A great place for a meal and also just to drop in for a coffee.
Cleopatras is a great place to stop for a drink or bite to eat. Helen and the team always provide a warm welcome and give the place a very friendly feel. Food is always tasty (Guiness cake is a must try for everyone 😋) and...the menu has something for everyone. Nice decor inside, picturesque view sitting outside. It's been a firm favourite for several years and no doubt will continue to be so for the forseeable future, ❤️More
This was a while ago but just getting round to reviewing it now. Food is absolutely top notch. My partner’s mum drives 30 minutes just to get pizza from Cleopatra’s! We sat in for a meal and I asked for extra olives on my pizza....They absolutely delivered. The tzatziki was also the best I’ve ever tasted and I will be back for more. The waitress up front was absolutely lovely, a younger girl, so friendly. When we went to pay though, the owner/manager (? older lady) tried quite heavily to recruit my partner to work there which was a little awkward as he has a job already and we’d only gone there for food and not to find new jobs! It was awkward for him having to say he will think about it. Has a funky stale smell in there and is a bit dated. But you go there for the food, which is amazing and well priced. Can’t beat the service either. Will be back .. as customers though! ;)More
Really tasty lunch today, home-made quiche, potato salad & fries and the best coffee. Wonderful warm welcome from Helen and Megan as always. This is our favourite place for coffee or lunch, great atmosphere and good quality food & coffee.
We have stopped off at this cafe on several occasions over the last few years !!! Before /during / and after covid !! On all occasions we have been met by wonderful friendly and happy owners and staff !, we would definitely recommend a visit...when you are passing through ..More
We called here whilst walking. A really warm welcome and the gluten free chocolate mouse was great. Outdoor seating and biscuits for the dog made this a really nice place for a coffee and cake.
Usually when you decide on a chicken salad it can be bland. This one certainly was not. Wonderful homemade dressing no need to add any extras. Very very yummy. Husband loved his chicken wrap as well. Staff wonderful and brilliant knowledge on sourcing ingredients.
Had heard good reviews about Cleopatra's and decided to go there ourselves. We recived a friendly welcome, both the inside and outside were busy. I chose off the specials board - homemade cottage pie with fresh vegetables - was absolutely delicious, couldn't fault it. My...husband had the homemade burger - again very tasty. To finish I had a to die for homemade chocolate mousse and hubby had carrot cake. All I thought was reasonably priced - thank you for such tasty food. We shall recommend and return.More
Stop here a lot after a walk, The food is always delicious, whether you are having a cuppa with cake, a full English, sandwiches, or something more substantial. They always bring a biscuit or two out for the dog. Only downside is when it is...busy with cyclists they like to park their bikes around the outside tables , leaving very little room for customers when it is busy during good weatherMore
Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Coffee and cakes are excellent. Good selection of home made cakes. Pretty decor too. Great for cyclists
Having read all the glowing reviews we decided to lunch here. We were greeted by a lovely young lady and shown to a table by the window (probably as we were the only customers) she was very friendly and efficient. All was good until our...meals arrived, my husband's meat pie meal was totally dried up, rock hard overdone pastry, dry mushy peas and hard skinny oven chips at £11.50, my Greek salad was a bowl of quartered watery tomatoes topped by minimal thinly sliced cucumber/onions/olives and tasty feta, OK but not up to the 5* review ratings. We did say our meals were fine when asked as the waitress was so pleasant and what is the point of complaining when it must have been very obvious to the kitchen that the pie etc was below standard but still served. Needless to ay we finished our lunch at a nearby cafe where we had excellent coffee and dessert.More
