We called on Saturday 13th May and had a wonderful (pink) rack of lamb and an 8oz fillet steak for £15.50p. Well cooked mains. Lovely atmosphere.

Just reopened before Christmas under new management. A good place on the High Street for drinks. Refurbished as well. Even Welsh language music on the jukebox. Diolch yn fawr.

Had a meal on the night we stayed very tasty but felt no different from other places. What was good there was plenty on the plate and hot.

Visited with 5 children (age 2-10). Booked a table for 7pm after a recommendation from the staff at castle green restaurant nearby who were full. The food itself was really delicious. A lovely home cooked feel with plenty of flavour. Frozen yorkshire a bit of a dissapointment but i appreciate doing them fresh would be tricky. Huge delay on our... More

We were struggling to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday evening in this area and came across Cat's Bistro. Very friendly restaurant with lovely home cooked food.

Food arrived in good time, everything straight in from kitchen, food was nice and hot. Good portions, everything tastes good and the price... More

Popped in for lunch with two friends and it was dreadful. Pot of tea tasted like it had been stewing for hours. Waited for ages while they located 'the' jug of milk! Waited another 40 minutes for the food despite there only being one other occupied table. Omelettes arrived burnt on the outside and undercooked inside. Basically inedible. Soup looked... More

So sorry, I know you didn't have a good experience, the chef had only just left and I should have closed the restaurant for a week to get things sorted out, rather than trying to just carry on. I'm sure if you came back now you would see a massive difference; 20% discount if you do :) More

The new manager and chef are a delight and although it is just a very simple menu the food was incredible. I recommend you try it for your self!

The food was less than average and upon going to Aberaeron last weeken we found the Royal Oak had closed, no surprise there then. It used to be a great place to get a good meal.
