About
Sian & Simon welcome you to their award winning water front pub, which offers, quality home cooked food, real welsh ales and fine wines and a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Specialising in fresh fish and seafood caught by local fishermen. Roaring log fires in the winter and eating out on the water edge during the summer, the Griffin Inn really is the perfect place all year round. The fantastic views over Dale Bay only add to the atmosphere, offering a memorable pub experience. Situated just around the bay from Marloes Sands, one of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful beaches and only a few miles from the village of Marloes and Skomer Island. Small village on the water so a reservation for a table probably needed. Food was delish, individually prepared by caring chefs with fresh seafood and fish a specialty. Our first meal after traveling for almost a day from the US. Just right. Want to return.

Friendly and efficient service and a two-tier menu offers lots of choice. I was able to eat from both over a number of visits. The fish menu is exceptionally good and the staff explain in detail each dish.

Situated right on the bay front, there is only a narrow one way street and a waist high stone wall separating the pub from the water. The pub is quite cosey and there is a glass fronted extension to the side which is used as...More

Four of us booked a table early on Friday evening and found it quite full when we arrived. We were seated in the bar area and, to be fair, we felt somewhat squashed with so many tables fitted into a small area. The waitress who...More

Seen Alistair Sawday recommendation so high expectations. Gorgeous setting but.... very pricey, £8.95 for indifferent mushy fish soup (nice croutons!) Fish pie £15.95, lacked much interest in flavour, nicely garnished with samphire and a few salad leaves. Strangely the pie included pieces of carrot and...More

We've eaten here before and we're more than happy with the food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Visited again this Sunday and once again was more than impressed with the fresh fish menu (my lobster was to die for). Griffin, keep up the excellent service.

Yes, a gentleman in wheelchair dined at the Griffin when we were there. I would suggest booking to ensure access to the table is unhindered, however the staff are really helpful.
