Lovely little place in Dale. The Griffin over looks the beach in the right hand corner. We grabbed a table on their roof top terrace. We had lovely views of the beach and the small harbour. The place allows dogs outside only which is a...More

Just the best fish, prepared so well, with good wine...at lunchtime in the middle of a walk, in walking boots, but made so welcome. The nicest meal I have had in a long time..

Just had a delicious lunch at the griffin, service from Shelly, Dylan and Sherra was impeccable. We had a mixture of seafood specials and standard menu and all was excellent. The children’s menu was a refreshing change! Thank you!

Definitely was disappointed by the Griffin in Dale. The entire pub is now given over to food which means there's basically nowhere to just sit and enjoy a drink. Its small and overcrowded. Except outside. On a warm evening that can be lovely. On an...More

The food choice was not so big, but the food was good, service also good as waitress was very nice and friendly, but the restaurant was busy and a bit cramped as not much room between tables.

We were staying in Dale and had read good reviews. We chanced a 6.30 booking for 6 at 4pm after a 6.5 mile walk round the headland. The only minor detail would be to possibly allow people booked into the restaurant to go through rather...More

This place never fails to impress, with an excellent fish menu and supporting menu if you do not fancy the fish dishes. The location and the restaurant fits just right for a real peach of a night to celebrate any occasion, well worth a visit...More

Yes, a gentleman in wheelchair dined at the Griffin when we were there. I would suggest booking to ensure access to the table is unhindered, however the staff are really helpful.
