A great choice of food. We could see dishes being brought out to other tables. It was a hard decision what to order. In the end we opted for the steak and Stilton pie. It was lovely.

Turned up for an 80th birthday lunch after booking weeks in advance, only to turn up and find out the booking wasn’t arranged even though we had confirmations previously. Family had travelled down especially to be there, apparently there was nothing they could do to...fit us in even though it wasn’t our fault, wasn’t impressed with how we were treated definitely will not be returning. The lady we spoke to was making jokes when we were frantically trying to look for other options for dinner, so if you do go here make sure to triple check they’ve actually booked you in.More
Our 1st visit to this pub after it was recommended. A lovely pub with a good atmosphere. Friendly, welcoming staff. The food was extremely nice. The only down side was the dessert. 3 of us had the Waffle & Ice Cream. The waffle was very...dry. But this has not put us off visiting again. We look forward to Caravan season 2024 as we will definitely be back to visit this pub 😁More
A lovely find with great atmosphere. Good food hubby had a gammon chop on the bone really good 😊 Scampi was delicious Would definitely go again
My husband and I booked to go here for Sunday lunch. It did not disappoint! The staff were very attentive and friendly. We ordered the pâté to start and ordered extra bread as we were sharing, our mains were straight out after our starter which...was amazing! Served hot and the plates were full! 10/10 would recommend😊More
Loved this place, were let down on a previous campsite, got booked in here late and had a wonderful meal, whilst watching the rugby. Lots of work being done on the campsite side, but our pitch was fine. Ha being a motorhome, being able to...rock up and have a place to dine and have a drink a few yards away was perfect, loved itMore
Booked for Saturday tea as we'd been told they get busy, arrived for 6pm as booked & it was fairly quiet, had a delicious, hot meal (starter & main, no pudding as too full). By the time we were leaving, about 8ish it was really...busy. Lovely staff, good service & delicious food. Highly recommend.More
Had a fabulous Sunday lunch with proper thick gravy. Meat was delicious and vegetables cooked to perfection. Huge portions and friendly staff. Maisy was our waitress and very knowledgeable and friendly. Make sure you leave room for desserts.
OMG the food ! Lasagne and Greek chicken souvlaki with flatbread and humus etc. Gorgeous. Would be in there regularly if local
We visited here on our holiday to Newgale and had a really lovely meal. The food was absolutely gorgeous. Myself and my partner both had roast dinner and it was so yummy! it came with loads of veg on the side so the value for...money was very good. We then had homemade biscoff cheesecake which we both loved! What made our visit super special though was the service we received from the owner. I didn’t quite catch his name but he really did go above and beyond for us. We visited with our Yorkshire Terrier and he made her feel so welcome. He gave her plenty of treats and then even came out with some roast beef for her- she was loving life haha! It’s really cool they have a separate area for diners with dogs too. Honestly the best service and meal we have had in a long time and can’t wait to visit again on our holidays! Thanks again :)More
We went to this pub as a family of 4. When we arrived (on spec) we were shown a table in a fairly empty/quiet room. Our food arrived and was delicious, 1 had the chicken souvlaki, my husband had the pie and the girls had...pizza and Mac n cheese. They were all really tasty meals and we all enjoyed them. When we finished our meal it was getting really busy and noisy so I mentioned that my daughter was Autistic and was struggling with the noise. I have to give a special mention to Rebecca who moved us into another room so we could enjoy our puddings. This service is what makes a difference to families like ours and it shouldn’t go unnoticed. If we ever come back to Pembrokeshire we will definitely visit again.More
Excellent and attentive staff, with a nice homely atmosphere in its well kept restaurant. The menu proved hard to pick an order with every meal sounding as tasty as the other. The starters were very nice with a 10/10 brushetta and flavoursome coconut prawn skewers...to recommend. In waiting for our mains it was slow but when arrived we were not dissapointed by the big portions. The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection yet unfortunately lacked a little bit of flavour, the burgers had by family were delicious as was the greek chicken kebab and the chips everyone agreed were the best part of our meals!More
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to with the meal we just had! The food was absolutely delicious for all of us, but the range of gluten free options was fantastic. I’m talking lasagne and profiteroles, neither of which I’ve ever seen before...on a menu. Lovely staff, child friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be back. Thank you xMore
Really enjoyable evening. Great (choice of) food. Staff were really friendly. Will definitely go again.
Decent food. The lamb burger was very tasty, with home made coleslaw and good chips. The gammon steak was top drawer. We would definitely return, if only we loved nearby!!! Good for dogs and service was great.
