We had an amazing lunch at this small kiosk overlooking the bay. It was a windy day, so there was no queue and we sheltered round the back of the hut whilst the brill in lava butter was cooked. There was a choice of brioche or normal buns, both huge. Five minutes later, the food was ready. Fantastic flavours packed... More

Top notch products and a stunning location. Freshly cooked burgers, bacon, lobster all in soft fresh rolls....check out the specials and always have the amazing lava butter on your dish. This is how street food should be!! no need for a table and chair - sit on the wall overlooking the beach and watch the waves and smell the surf.... More

I think 5 star ratings are overused on TA, but in a world where fairly everyday things can be described as awesome, what is anyone supposed to say to describe something that is truly exceptional? In the context of beach shack food Cafe Mor is world class. We had suspected that there was not much chance of asking the Maître... More

Lobster, crab and mackerel rolls and the best burgers on the coast. Always a queue but well worth the wait

Beautifully cooked beef burger with bacon steak, cheese and superb home made pickle. Combined with the freshly toasted roll and lava butter this is a cracker of a burger. Do yourself a favour and try the Mor Burger. Assuming you can avoid the temptation of the Lobster Roll !

The food and service at Cafe Mor are both fantastic. It's an eatery like no other and if you haven't experienced yet - do it soon! It's fine dining on the beach.

I had THE most amazing hot crab bap with Welsh sea back butter. Don't be put off by the price tag - it's the best £10 I spent on food on this coast. Sat on the beach with a cup of tea... bliss! Making my mouth water just thinking about it.

First point, the food was excellent! Such a shame that when I asked what time he was open till, we were told, " well I'm not waiting around all day if there are no customers" I explained we just wanted to decide if to walk on the beach first and then eat or eat now, " well I'm not hanging... More

I don't usually eat burgers but these are outstanding. They are cooked to order and are unbelievably tasty. I really recommend having all the pickles and sauces. I don't know what they use but it is amazing. They aren't the cheapest but worth every penny. Bring a hair clip, wet wipes/napkins and enjoy eating one of the best burgers of... More

CAFE MOR IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. WE OPEN AGAIN GOOD FRIDAY 2017. Thank you all for a wonderful season, see you next year! Cafe Môr is the name given to our beach food outlet at Freshwater West. Cafe Môr took the BBC Food & Farming award for 'Best Street food/Take Away in the UK' in 2014 as well as having been awarded 'Best of the Best', 'Best Sandwich', 'Best Drink' and 'Best Looking Mobiler' at The British Street Food Awards in the past few years. 'Môr' means 'sea' in Welsh & is pronounced the same way as 'more'. Products of the sea cannot be missed on our menu. We use local lobster & crab from DASH shellfish in Little Haven & fish from Milford as well as incorporating foraged seaweeds into our popular dishes. If seafood isn't your thing we also have our own Beach Beef Burgers made for us by Andy at Yerberston Gate Farm, they have laverbread in them to add an out of this world depth to the flavour. As of this year we have upped our game in terms of sustainability and the trailer is now powered by wind and solar energy. No more noisy generator!
