Had lunch and dinner here many times with friends and or family. The food is consistently good and the menu original, offering everything from a toasted baguette with a Welsh Rarebit filling to steak from the local butcher or fish and chips. The atmosphere is...delightful because the staff are warm and welcoming. As a woman, I will happily arrive early to meet a friend and feel at home and comfortable, which is not something I feel in most pubs.More

I visited the Banc, last week, the lady who served us was very professional and attentive, Food was very good value for the price and cooked perfect, what a great find in a small town in mid wales keep up the good work :)

Went because of reviews but was so disappointed. The salad I had had horrible fried four tons that just tasted of oil and stale, the smoked chicken couldn’t be made because of their oven so the chicken was dry with no taste. There was no...ice because their machine was broken…it wasn’t a pleasurable experience to say the least.More

Such an amazing pub with wonderful service. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was just so warm. I’d highly recommend this pub for a meal out with friends or family or for just a drink.
