If you don't drive through Berriew regularly then, like me, you may not have noticed The Lychgate, although the staff told us that they have been there for nigh on six years. I can't believe we have been missing out on all that great food...More

Lovely friendly atmosphere created by Sarah and her team. The Tearooms are situated in the picturesque village of Berriew with its black and white timbered houses and the River Rhiew passing through it - not to be missed

We visited on our way through Mid Wales and were so glad we took the slight detour. What a find this cafe/deli is! Super fresh home cooked food and friendly staff. It's definitely somewhere we'll visit again. The breakfast omelette was particularly delicious.
