This place is not the same as it once was. The staff (few that they are) do their best but there is something amiss and it is so disappointing after the award-winning food and place it used to be. We hope it will improve again someday as it has a lot of potential.

ive visited twice this month and on both occasions the tile floors had been wet mopped just before lunch time making it trecherous for people like me with mobility problems. There are no prices up for the cakes and it all seemed a bit chaotic to be honest. I cant imagine how they would cope it if was busy as... More

We happened on this by chance when travelling back from Hay on Wye and were not disappointed. The cafe was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. There was an excellent choice of lunch items, panninis, pizzetta, all with a different twist and the panninis were excellent, but quite filling so we were unable to try one of the many delicious looking... We love this place, comfortable, inviting and very welcoming in a great location. Lunch for both of us were two of the best meals we have eaten here. The perfectly spiced Morrocan chicken came with green salad, couscous and flatbread and the egg florentine was excellent. We shared a piece of lovely lime, coconut and mango cake. Can't wait to... We ordered scones, cream and jam. Gorgeous scones, shame that clotted cream isn't offered. Friendly service, lots of events in the evenings. Seating available in caf, on mezzanine level and out in the courtyard.

Probably our favourite place to eat right now. Menu changes with the seasons but everything is delicious, especially the soups, savoury scones or breads, goats cheese lasagne and pizzas. Food is so pretty too. All fab!

Good food with helpful staff - the Club Sandwich was excellent and those who had the soup enjoyed it a lot.

We've been using this café/restaurant now for some time, both as a couple and bringing friends. The standards are consistently high. The menu;s change every fortnight to reflect the availability of produce from their own gardens and whatever you choose will be fresh, extremely tasty and nicely presented. Try something different here - you won't be disappointed, and some of... More

Beautiful cafe with a wonderful menu. Enjoyed a fabulous cauliflower, courgette and chick pea curry with a honey flat bread and delicious beetroot flat raita. My husband had the beef and monty's ale pie with wilted greens. Again a very tasty dish. For dessert we were spoilt for choice and had a gooey chocolate brownie and a delicious flapjack. The...
