If you love good quality Indian cuisine and excellent service, we highly recommend a visit to Rahil Tandoori in Barry. The food was good quality, service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and we had a very pleasant experience and an enjoyable evening. Full...dining with drinks for four persons came in at under £100, which was surprisingly reasonable considering the quality. I had a king prawn in chilli tika Masala and it was delicious, my son had a king prawn Jalfressi and his was fantastic! You can tell the food is freshly cooked! unlike other restaurants that buy in factory made meals which the restaurant just...microwaves! the Rahil is the real deal!More

As a party of 6 all but two of us had different dishes, everyone of them delicious. Friendly efficient service and great value for money, definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We love this Indian. We travel from Penarth most pay days for a treat. The food is always fabulous. What let's this place down is the service in our opinion. The young man waiter only speaks to the men he completely blanks the women which...I find very unsettling. Like when you are asking if the food is OK? Surely you need to be asking both of us ! Then our food was plonked on the opposite side of our table not given to us properly,this was by the manager. Then to top it all off when he was clearing our dishes he took the tablecloth off as well which I felt was very unprofessional We still had drinks to finish and might of wanted something else. The manager did offer us a 'complimentary drink'? I have no idea why as we have never been offered one before ! Unfortunately, we might have to try somewhere else next pay day !More

Ordered a take away last night from the Rahil. Got delivered within the hour. Curries and all the side dishes were top notch, full of flavour & delicius. Have never had anything less than great food in all the years I’ve used them. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent, nicely spiced & large portions. Plenty of choice on the menu, as each meal was ordered the spice level & cooking method was described to ensure we would enjoy our food. The service was friendly & attentive, overall a very good experience.

My partner and I went for the first time based on recommendations. Honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten. So so tasty, fresh and delicious. We had warm popadoms to start, veg korma, veg masala, pilau rice, aloo gobi, peshwari naan and garlic naan....All of which tasted absolutely phenomenal. Unbelievably tasty. So impressed. Service couldn’t have been better either. Lovely people, lovely food. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you!More

We made an advance booking for a table of 13 adults. We opted to provide our meal choices prior to the date so that the staff could prepare in readiness for a large group. We all had a starter in addition to poppadoms with chutney...trays. We all had a main course. There were no issues at all on the night. Great food and excellent service.More

Gorgeous food, staff very friendly, great value, didn't order alcohol and sometimes the service goes down a bit I find, but not here. Butter chicken was soo tasty.

Awful meal, food and sauces clearly from a Comercial batch of readymade disgusting sludge, with maybe just maybe some colour or flavours added to change the appearance for different dishes. Should have guessed looking at the menu far too many dishes listed to be even...possible to a decent standard. Would not let me keep the bill!! So ended up taking it back off the waiter and took picture of it, before he took it back again, has to be a fiddle going on here why can’t I have a copy of my bill!,More
