I love Pure Wholefoods cafe. Its always busy but service is efficient. The food is super fresh and wholesome but tastes good so you can bring guests who are not into healthy eating in a big way and they will find something on the menu or you can come with the fussies of gluten-free, vegan searching friends. Portions are super... More

We went in to stock up on essentials for our trip and we were very impressed by the choices and quality of the foods and other items on sale. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we bought much more than we initially intended. I think we will be charged an excess on our baggage but it... More

A huge display of prepared delicious looking food in front of me, but the server, after checking couldn't sell me anything that didn't have oil in it. I was so disappointed.

Very tasty, very healthy, nice atmosphere. A great place to be before a swimm or after a swimm in the ocean. My place to be.

Situated in the rocks , just off Sydney harbour, this little street cafe has a truly rustic charm, we enjoyed a beer, gluten free, a salad, and some excellent spinach and ricotta Turkish pide. Sitting on dry sacks on a wall with small tables and chairs, the food is served on enamel plates which seems to be a fashion around... More

We had a very good lunch: food is really delicious and seems of excellent quality, the quality-price ratio is excellent (you get a lot of bang for your buck!); and staff is very kind and helpful. The kitchen closes at 2.30 pm, but you can order something already done.

This restaurant has everything that an organic experience can offer. It is manly a busy restaurant unless you get there not in peak hours. Reasonable price for good quality of food.

After weeks of traveling we were tired of eating junk and were so thankful that friends in Sydney recommended Pure to us. We ate there three times in the short time we were in Manly Beach. The smoothies, breakfasts, salads and wheatgrass juice were all wonderful. And then there were the raw fruit nut brownies--oh my goodness. I have eaten... More

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
