Only a walk across the road from the Manly Wharf/Manly Ferry, this seeming tourist spot is ideal for locals as well. Although a little higher priced than some local dining establishments the food and service make it a worthwhile meal in a fun and lively location both during the day and evenings. Yummy looking breakfasts are served until 5 pm... More

Make sure you come with a full appetite. They're incredibly large menu will surely make you confused but whatever you decide in the end I guarantee your food will be amazing. If you can try ordering their famous brick oven pizza.

Like many reviewers we had a mixed experience here. The popcorn prawns were really good, the pizzas were perfectly fine but not outstanding, the prosecco very good. Then you come to service, we were early and the restaurant was largely empty and we asked for an outside table facing the wharf and were told we could not have one so... More

I visited Manly Criniti's on a Thursday night with a group of twelve work colleagues. For entrees we shared chicken wings, salt and pepper squid, wedges and halloumi stacks. All were very nice. For main I ordered the cannelloni which were delicious. Service was friendly however some of our drinks got forgotten a few times. Overall a good experience.

I ordered Chicken Schnitzel and it tasted awful. The meat was dark, the texture was chewy and it made me wonder if it was chicken, so I asked my friend to try it and he said it tasted like pork (he eats pork a lot), and I don't eat pork. This is a very mindless mistake. I was so disgusted... More

My family and I went here for dinner last Saturday as it was my mums birthday. The service was absolutely awful throughout the whole evening. It took 30 mins for pur drinks to arrive initially followed by another 30 mins to take our order. The food was good but unfortunately they did forget mums main meal (& then tried to... More

We tried to get a table here on a Saturday night but we were told to come back in 45 mins but decided to find somewhere else as it was unlikely even then a table would've been available. Anyway we returned the next evening Sunday and there was loads of spare tables. And so we we were seated and the... More

The pizza and gelato are the only reason to go to this place so I'd recommend takeaway rather than experiencing the shocking service. Its not that the staff are rude, its certainly more of a senior management issue .... ie their is none. Usually just inexperienced packpackers walking around taking orders and delivering food to tables. Huge waits between ordering... More

We were there for lunch. It wasn't overly busy but we were seated near a 16th Birthday Party. But there was no problem in us moving to a quieter area. The servings were very generous. The salt & pepper squid was enormous! But it could do with a small salad on the side to break it up. I had the... More

Had supper here as it was close to our hotel and it was raining. The outlook is good the restaurant is well appointed. The food was average enjoyable but not quite what we expected. The staff welcomed us and were very helpful in making our selection from the menu. As the restaurant is opposite the ferry terminal it is ideal... More

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
