I had a meal here with a group of people and was very impressed. The food was very nice and the staff were great. They had no problem taking a large order accurately and the food arrived in good time. Recommended

Went on a busy Easter Sunday - was seated quite promptly. I especially went for their Sukhothai noodle soup and wasn't disappointed. The Papaya Salad no. 2 chilli was spicy so be warned. Had the snapper fillet fish $22 was also delicious and the starter Pork Ribs - tasty even before the dip. Lots of food for 3. Very good... More

A fantastic restaurant in a convenient location. The Chicken Pad Thai us delicious and the Curry Puffs with their sweet sauce is the perfect entree. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Dropped in on spec with family on a beautiful sunny autumn Sunday. Great noodles and soups. quick service, quick turnover, very popular. Had a noodle soup for $12 that filled the senses. Smelled great, sour salty and with a wonderful slow building "burn" that never overpowered but just got better and better. Every body happy and full at the end.... More

We stopped at Manly wharf for a quick bite at Chat Thai. It's a 'casual dining' on the wharf, so not intimate. The chicken laksa was one of the best I have tasted. It came "mild" but we asked for some chilli paste to spice it up. Amy's Noodles came with 2 giant prawns & a small amount (being 4,... More

We love Chat Thai at its various locations but Manly is really letting the side down. Disinterested staff (there were only 2 other people in there) and the food was a real let down. Starters were lukewarm and mains were like the cook just chucked a lot of chilli and nothing else.

Great food, served by nice people. Despite being busy, they managed to fit us in and the staff were friendly and attentive - quite a difference from Hugo's, next door, where we had been the night before.

I have been an advocate for chat Thai for the last 3 years until now. I order their padt Thai religiously usually to take away, the price was reasonable. I ordered as per usual and turned up to pick up expecting the normal $9.90 change but was handed back $6.50 from $20. I'm not great at maths but that's a... More

I recently dined here with my brother who is a chef. We were both impressed with how fresh the food was. The service was friendly & prices were more than reasonable. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I took a ferry to Manly whilst staying in Sydney over Christmas 2016. We booked a table for two at 12 noon, and were delighted to have been given the best table in the house. The staff were very friendly and would go out of their way to make our experience just brilliant. Then came the main... More

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
