The restaurant has closed. The website confirmed this. A shame as we enjoyed our last visit very much, and it is rated the best eatery in Petersham. A lot of places are struggling to stay open - even the great ones.

Entree was chicken gibblet and glazed cherries - a wonderful taste combination Mains were perfectly cooked Hapuku fillet and lamb dishes. Highly recommend. A very quaint and pretty interior with attentive service. And a owner/maitre d' that looks like the younger brother of Hugo Weaving.

Warm welcome after the rain outside. Excellent wine choices by Ian. Wonderful interpretation of a Ploughmans dinner as entree, chicken cooked to perfection for main, zingy sorbet and to finish a refreshing pineapple meringue dessert. Great evening.
